Why there are two Go Fest Link Charge codes
The two Link Charge codes above aren’t random freebies. They’re tied to a community meetup challenge running alongside Pokémon Go Fest, where local check-ins across the community unlock each code for everyone once a threshold is reached. The first code unlocked after the community hit 750,000 RSVPs and check-ins, and the second unlocked after another 750,000 check-ins were logged.
Each of the two codes grants 100 Link Charges and 15 Poké Balls. Redeeming both together provides enough Link Charges for one Mega Mewtwo encounter, which lines up with the Mega Mewtwo challenge running during the event.
