Pokémon Pokopia: How to Find the Decorative Heal Ball (Babby Basin)

Dig beneath the seafloor near a hidden house to claim the Decorative Heal Ball for the Mermaid's Gym habitat.

The Decorative Heal Ball is a hidden treasure tucked under the seafloor in Babby Basin. It sits inside a sealed secret room that only opens once you dig in the right spot, and it is one of the decorative Poké Balls you need to build the Mermaid’s Gym habitat.

Quick answer: In Babby Basin, go to the small house next to the tall red building and the bridge, then dig a hole in the seafloor directly beside the house. Drop into the revealed room and take the Decorative Heal Ball off the pedestal.

Before you go: what you need

The treasure is underwater, so you must be able to explore the Basin’s seafloor and dig into it. The Dive ability, unlocked from Manaphy, is what lets you move through these submerged areas. Once you can reach the seabed and dig, no other special tool is required to open the hidden room.

Landmarks that mark the spot

Three landmarks line up around the dig site, so use them to confirm you are in the correct part of Babby Basin before you start digging.

Dig a hole in the seafloor right next to the house. Doing so opens up a secret room hidden below the seabed.

How to know it worked

When you take the item from the pedestal, the game confirms the pickup with the message, “You found someone’s hidden treasure! It’s a decorative Heal Ball!” The Decorative Heal Ball is then added to your inventory as a single item.

What the Decorative Heal Ball is for

The Decorative Heal Ball is one of four decorative Poké Balls needed to build the Mermaid’s Gym, the Bubbly Basin habitat that spawns Starmie. You place it alongside the other three balls, a Marine Sofa, and six Pedestals to complete the build.

If you miss the pickup or need another copy

If you are still short on any of the decorative balls, the Pokémon Center’s 3D printer can recreate items you are missing. To print one, you first need a photo of it, taken either in a friend’s game or on a cloud island. That gives you a reliable backup path to finishing the Mermaid’s Gym without hunting down every ball by hand.
