It sits in the middle of the event’s reward ladder, and claiming it comes down to a single number on the timer. Reach the goal fast enough while winning the round, and Zorua hands it over on the spot.
Quick answer: Win a round of Hide-and-Sneak by touching the Pokémon Center PC in under 1 minute and 30 seconds. Doing so awards the Hide-and-Sneak Trophy plus every slower reward tier you have not already collected.
Trophy requirement: finish under 1 minute 30 seconds
The trophy is tied to a completion time of 1:30 or faster. You have to actually win the round, meaning you must touch the PC before the clock passes that mark. Getting spotted along the way does not disqualify you, but every second you lose stalling or restarting pushes you toward the cutoff.
Because faster times also grant every reward below them, a single clean sub-1:30 run gives you the trophy and everything down to Lumber in one go. You do not need to earn each tier separately, so there is no reason to aim slow first.
How to start the contest with Zorua
Before Zorua will host the contest, you need at least one rebuilt Pokémon Center in your world, and you must have already finished Zorua’s request at Bleak Beach. That request is where Zorua teaches you the Camouflage ability, which the entire minigame depends on. If you have not reached that story point yet, keep progressing until Zorua joins your Pokédex.
Note: The contest is not available on Cloud Islands. You have to play it in your main campaign world at a Pokémon Center you have restored.
How to win a round and beat 1:30
Your goal is to reach the Pokémon Center PC without being caught. Zorua and at least two other Pokémon patrol the area near the PC, and any Pokémon with a speech bubble over its head is actively hunting you. They mostly stay close to the goal, so you usually have open ground until the final approach.
Turning on the controller’s rumble setting helps here, since the console vibrates when a Pokémon spots you. That is useful when your camera is not pointed at every hunter. Your starting spot matters too. Spawning behind the Pokémon Center lets you round the closest side with less ground to cover, and a location with plenty of cover, hills, furniture, or blocks near the PC makes hiding easier.
If you are spotted, the round is not over as long as time remains. You are moved to a new spot for another attempt on the same run, so use it to try a different route to the PC.
Optional trick to force a close spawn
Players chasing the very fastest times have forced the game to spawn them almost on top of the Pokémon Center by walling off the surrounding area with lava. It takes preparation to set up, but it removes most of the distance you need to sneak. Treat it as an extreme optimization rather than a requirement, since the trophy only asks for a sub-1:30 finish.
Event dates and full reward tiers
Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest runs from 5:00 AM on Sunday, July 19 to 4:59 AM on Monday, July 27, based on your local time. After the Ver 1.1.0 update, you can no longer time travel forward to trigger events, so you have to play within the live window. Every reward is earned once, and faster completions unlock everything in the tiers above them.

How to confirm you earned the trophy
The moment you touch the PC under 1:30 and win the round, Zorua awards the Hide-and-Sneak Trophy along with any lower-tier rewards you had not yet claimed. Once placed, the trophy displays your best record time whenever you interact with it, so you can verify it landed and keep chasing faster runs. Since seeker positions and facing directions are random each round, expect a few attempts before luck lines up in your favor.
