Polo is a quest NPC in Anime Fighting Simulator, added with Update 5 on July 19, 2026. He hands you an eight-mission run that mixes stat training with boss and enemy kills, and finishing all of it pays out Phoenix: Full Transformation along with Trait Rerolls, Yen, and Chikara. His character design draws from Marco the Phoenix in One Piece.
Quick answer: Equip the Flames of the Phoenix, travel to Ice Island, and talk to Polo on the cliff opposite the Curse Hunter boss. Then complete his eight missions in order to earn Phoenix: Full Transformation on the final quest.

Where to find Polo and how to start the questline
Polo stands on a cliff on Ice Island, directly across from the Curse Hunter boss. You cannot begin his questline just by talking to him. You must first have the Flames of the Phoenix equipped, otherwise the option to start will not appear.
All eight Polo quests, objectives, and rewards
The line alternates between training a set number of stat increments and clearing specific bosses or enemies. Training quests want you in the matching training areas with your strongest units equipped, while combat quests send you against Kurama, the Alligator, and Ice Island’s Fishmen and Pirates.
| Quest | Objective | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Ashes to Wings | Train 1,500 Chakra, Agility, and Speed increments | 3,000 Yen, 200 Chikara |
| 2. Emberborn Paths | Defeat Kurama 3 times | 10 Trait Rerolls, 5,000 Yen, 250 Chikara |
| 3. Immortal Thistle | Train 2,500 Chakra and Durability increments | 5,000 Yen, 200 Chikara |
| 4. Prometheus’s Flames | Defeat 20 Fishmen and 30 Pirates | 10 Trait Rerolls, 7,500 Yen, 300 Chikara |
| 5. Infernal Ascent | Train 3,000 Agility and Speed increments | 7,500 Yen, 300 Chikara |
| 6. Rising Phoenix | Defeat Alligator 3 times | 10 Trait Rerolls, 10,000 Yen, 300 Chikara |
| 7. Flame of Restoration | Train 3,000 Chakra and Durability increments | 10,000 Yen, 300 Chikara |
| 8. Blue Phoenix’s Crown | Train 5,000 Chakra and Agility increments, defeat Kurama 5 times | 10 Trait Rerolls, 15,000 Yen, 500 Chikara, Phoenix: Full Transformation |
How to clear the training quests fast
Five of the eight missions are pure training goals measured in increments, not raw stat totals. Quests 1, 3, 5, 7, and the training half of Quest 8 all want you to rack up increments in specific stats, so put your best units on and camp the matching training areas.
- Chakra-heavy goals appear in Quests 1, 3, 7, and 8. Train at Chakra areas alongside the paired stat.
- Agility and Speed goals show up in Quests 1, 5, and 8. Use the Agility and Speed training areas.
- Durability is paired with Chakra in Quests 3 and 7, so those two can be worked at the same time.
How to clear the combat quests
Three missions are kill-based. Emberborn Paths asks for three Kurama clears, and Blue Phoenix’s Crown raises that to five Kurama kills on top of its training goal. Rising Phoenix wants three Alligator kills, and Prometheus’s Flames sends you after Ice Island’s own enemies, 20 Fishmen and 30 Pirates.
The Fishmen and Pirates for Prometheus’s Flames spawn on Ice Island itself, so you can farm them without leaving the area where Polo is stationed.
Final reward and how to confirm completion
The eighth mission, Blue Phoenix’s Crown, is the payoff. Clearing its combined training and boss objective grants 10 Trait Rerolls, 15,000 Yen, 500 Chikara, and Phoenix: Full Transformation. Once that final quest registers as complete, the transformation is added to your account, which confirms the whole line is finished.
If Polo will not open his questline at all, the usual cause is not having the Flames of the Phoenix equipped. Re-equip it and interact with him again to start from Ashes to Wings.
