Prismana Glynsera is the rainbow form of the Ice-type Aniimo Glynsera, and for a short stretch of the launch season it can be caught in the wild rather than only bred or nurtured over time. Land the catch with a Sparkling Cube and it arrives as the Sparkling Type VIII variant, a lime-green, white and teal recolour trailing glowing rainbow blades.
Quick answer: Prismana Glynsera is a Light/Ice DPS Aniimo that spawns in Beast Fang Ridge during its Vein Abundance week, and a Sparkling Cube guarantees both the catch and the Sparkling recolour.
What Prismana Glynsera is
In the Aniilog, Prismana Glynsera is entry No. S1C: a Nova-stage Aniimo with Light/Ice elements and the DPS role. Prismanas are rare rainbow variants of a species, each with unique artwork and a wild spawn via a Prismana Flow. Only 27 of the 235 Aniilog entries have this variant, and an Aniimo in Prismana form cannot be returned to an egg by sealing.

Because it is a Season 1 special, Glynsera is not a permanent open-world spawn. It surfaces during a Prismana Flow in one region, and that placement is fixed for the week it is featured.

Prismana Glynsera is drawn out in Beast Fang Ridge during the Vein Abundance event, and its featured window runs through September 27. While Glynsera holds that slot, Prismana Scorchhowl cannot be encountered in the same region. After its week ends, other Prismana rotate through their own zones before all four return late in October.
| Dates | Prismana | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Sep 21 – Sep 27 | Prismana Glynsera | |
| Sep 28 – Oct 4 | Prismana Melloblum | |
| Oct 5 – Oct 11 | Prismana Waleetle | |
| Oct 12 – Oct 18 | Prismana Inferlupa | |
| Oct 19 – Oct 26 | All four return | Respective regions |
Beast Fang Ridge is a Breezy Plains zone with a base level range of 30 to 35. In a scaled encounter the Prismana appeared at Level 51, so expect the on-map creature and nearby Pathfinders to sit well above the region’s base numbers during the event.

The Flow itself is tied to a region’s Prismatic Energy. Nurturing the zone’s Bloom raises that energy, and each rise carries a chance to trigger the Flow. Catching the Aniimo that gather there can also set off a Lucky Strike, which adds more Prismatic Energy and can pull the Flow out directly. Working through wild spawns such as Bonesky is the practical way to keep the meter climbing.

Once the Flow lands and Glynsera appears, the Breezy Plains map marks it, and the companion assistant flags a “Prismana Animo detected nearby” alert with a sparkle trail leading to its spot. The location stays put for the rest of the week.

Guaranteeing the Sparkling Type VIII form
Sparkling is a separate rarity from Prismana. It recolours the body and adds a glow with no change to stats, and its base rate is 1 in 20,000 on a normal wild spawn. Standard Anipods only carry a chance to catch, which is a risky proposition against a spawn this rare.

The Sparkling Cube removes the gamble entirely. Thrown at any Aniimo, it guarantees a successful catch, forces Perfect Potential, and forces the Sparkling mutation. Used on the weekly Prismana Glynsera, the result comes out Prismana and Sparkling at the same time, which is why it is worth spending here. A Sparkling Cube costs 1,000 Sparkling Crystals at an outpost vendor, and each Vein Abundance task pays 30 crystals. No Prismana form can ever be Umbral.
You know the catch worked from the result card. It reads Sparkling, Prismana and Nova Stage, and a message confirms that “under the influence of the Sparkling Cube, this Animo has become a S1 Sparkling Animo.” In Field Notes, its Switch Form entry files the recolour as Sparkling Type VIII. The base Prismana carries the flavour line, “The striking red draws attention, but also warns you off,” while the Sparkling layer shifts the coat into its lime-green, white and teal palette.

Combat kit and the Biting Wind trait
Glynsera plays as an Ice DPS built around stacking and spending Ice Debuff. Each of its core skills has a 1-second cooldown, and its damage climbs the longer those stacks sit on an enemy.
| Skill | Element | EP cost | Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ice | 15 | 60 | |
| Holy | 20 | 55 | |
| Ice | 20 | 39 |
Frost Tail Strike flips Glynsera forward for a tail slam and can consume Ice Debuff stacks to deal a large chunk of extra damage. Boomerang Blade throws a spinning ice blade that applies Ice Debuff, drains energy while it circles, and returns when the skill is pressed again. Prismana Slash lunges and spins to open a magic field that fires three light blades for three hits. Above these sits the Ice Tornado ultimate.
The payoff for stacking is the passive trait, Biting Wind, which raises Glynsera’s Critical Rate by 15% against any target holding at least 5 stacks of Ice Debuff. That single condition is what makes Glynsera an Ice carry rather than a Light one, since its Prismana Slash deals comparable damage to its Ice moves without adding any Ice Debuff of its own.
Homeland roles and water traversal
Off the battlefield, Glynsera earns its keep in the Homeland. As an Ice-type it cools the home environment, and it can haul stored produce into home storage. Its Homeland abilities land at these levels:
- Carry (Hauling) — Level 4
- Ice (cooling) — Level 4
- Light — Level 3
Glynsera also brings a traversal trick that most Aniimo do not. Its Boomerang Blade leaves ice pads on the surface of water, and it can freeze water to form platforms it walks across, turning open lakes and rivers into crossable ground.
Put together, that is the appeal of the Sparkling Type VIII catch: a Prismana rainbow form, a guaranteed Perfect-Potential Sparkling recolour, a stack-and-spend Ice DPS kit anchored by Biting Wind, and a home helper that cools, carries and freezes water. The one hard limit is timing, since the wild version is only available while Glynsera holds its Vein Abundance week.
