Boss farming is the quickest way to build a wardrobe, a katana collection, and an ultimate move list in Project Slayers 2. Every boss sits at a fixed spawn point, and every boss hands out an item chest plus a chance at its own themed gear. The hard part is knowing which cliff to drop off, which wall is fake, and which cave entrance is hidden behind a waterfall.
Quick answer: Start at Obanai above Bamboo Grove, work down the central line through Sabito, Giyu, Daki, Sanemi, Shinobu, Rengoku and Nezura, and finish at Fujiko’s cave in the Final Selection Plains.
Project Slayers 2 boss locations and drops
Bosses are grouped tightly enough that a horse and a couple of shrine teleports cover almost all of them. Health pools vary a lot — Obanai sits at 3,000 HP while the Water Trainee Sabito mini-boss only has 600 — so the same route works for a fresh character and a geared one, just at different speeds.
Bamboo Grove and central path bosses
| Boss | Location | Drops |
|---|---|---|
| Obanai | Above Bamboo Grove, horse ride from spawn | Serpent Haori, Serpent Katana, Serpent Mask |
| Zentaro (The Thunder King) | Below Obanai, near Hidden Mist | Thunder Haori, Thunder Katana |
| Sumari | Past Bamboo Grove, night only | Outfit, necklace, ultimate move |
| Yahari | Past Bamboo Grove, night only | Outfit, necklace, ultimate move |
| Water Trainee Sabito | Central path mini-boss (600 HP) | Water Trainee Outfit, Ghost Warding Mask, Scarred Warding Mask |
| Giyu | By the bridge | — |
| Reaper | Past Giyu | Outfit, ultimate move |
| Daki | Cave behind the red gate, near the waterfall | Golden Kanzashi, Bulwark set |
| Gyutaro | Same cave as Daki | Blood Sickles, Circular Slashes |
| Sanemi | Along the main path | Wind-themed set |
| Shinobu | Further along the path from Sanemi | — |
| Rengoku | Across the suspension bridge | Flame Katana |
| Nezuko (Nezura) | Below Rengoku’s cliff | Bamboo Muzzle, Nezura’s Outfit, Missing Pyrokinesis |
| Gyomei | Near Hidden Mist Village | — |
| Fujiko | Cave in the Final Selection Plains | Bladed Wagasa, Fujiko’s Outfit, Ice Chest |
Rengoku is the standout here. The Flame Katana he drops upgrades into the Volcanic Katana, which makes him worth repeating even after you have his other loot. Daki and Gyutaro share one cave, so a single trip through the red gate covers both.
Iceveil Valley, Windy Peak, and Mistfall Harbor bosses
| Boss | Location | Drops |
|---|---|---|
| Yeti | Cave near Butterfly Estate, Iceveil Valley | — |
| Tengen (Tengai) | Snowy town, short walk from Frost Veil Shrine | — |
| Doma | By the Torii gate past Tengen | Black Lotus Crown, War Fans |
| Akaza | Windy Peak, behind a fake wall up the cliffside | Top, bottom, Shockwave |
| Enmu | Dreamfall Hollow, past Mistfall Harbor | — |
The snow region is a separate trip rather than part of the main loop. Fast travel to the Frost Veil Shrine in Iceveil Valley, clear Tengen and Doma on foot, then handle the Yeti separately because it has its own entry condition.

Save the Iceveil Valley bosses for a second lap. Teleporting to the Frost Veil Shrine breaks the central line, and you need cold protection before the valley is usable at all.
Bosses with entry requirements and hidden entrances
Five bosses cannot be walked up to. Four are behind concealed entrances and one needs gear before the area is survivable, and missing any of these is the usual reason a boss appears absent from the map.
Yeti: Emberheart Lantern and Frozen Heart
Iceveil Valley applies cold damage, and the Emberheart Lantern is what keeps you alive in it. Equip the lantern before you teleport in. The Yeti itself sits in a cave near Butterfly Estate on the map, and the Frozen Heart is what starts the fight.
Akaza: fake wall at Windy Peak
Travel to Windy Peak and climb the cliffside rather than circling the base. Near the top there is a fake wall you can walk straight through, and Akaza is waiting on the other side with his top, bottom, and the Shockwave move.
Enmu: hidden drop in Dreamfall Hollow
Teleport to the Mistfall Harbor Shrine, move through Mistfall Harbor and into Dreamfall Hollow. From there you drop through a concealed entrance in the ground to reach Enmu’s arena.
Daki, Gyutaro, and the Fujiko cave
Daki and Gyutaro live inside the cave behind the red gate, with Daki near the waterfall. Fujiko is a secret boss tucked in a cave in the Final Selection Plains, and she is the only source of the Bladed Wagasa, her outfit, and the Ice Chest.

Sumari and Yahari: night-only spawns
Both spawn points sit just past Bamboo Grove on the ride out, and neither boss appears during the day. Come back at night and you get outfits, necklaces, and ultimate moves from the pair.
How boss drops and chest tiers work
Every boss kill pays out an item chest, and the chest tier scales with how strong the boss is. Cosmetics, katanas, and ultimate moves sit on top of that as separate roll chances, which is why the same boss can give you nothing but a chest on one run and a full outfit piece on the next. You know a rare drop landed when the item appears in the chest reward after the kill, not during the fight.
The original Project Slayers roster documents those rates precisely, and many of the same names and moves carry across. Use it to set expectations before you commit to grinding a single boss.
| Boss | Location | HP | Drops |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zoku | Kiribating Village | 250 | Riyaku’s Necklace (20%) |
| Kaden | Ushumaru Village | 900 | Tier 1 Chest |
| Sabito | South of Abubu Cave | 900 | Sabito’s Mask (12%), Tier 1 |
| Zanegutsu Kuuchie | Zapiwara Mountain | 1,000 | Thunderclap and Flash Sixfold (10%), Tier 1 |
| Slasher | Dangerous Woods | 1,400 | Speed Rush (10%), Tier 1 |
| Nezuko | Dangerous Woods | 1,400 | Blood Burst (10%), Bamboo Pacifier (5%), Tier 1 |
| Shiron | Butterfly Mansion | 1,500 | Caprice (10%), Tier 1 |
| Sanemi | Jingers Home | 1,500 | Idaten Typhoon (10%), Tier 1 |
| Yahaba | Ouwbayashi Home | 2,000 | Arrow Spikes (10%), Tier 2 |
| Susamaru | Ouwbayashi Home | 2,000 | Temari Meteor (10%), Tier 2 |
| Giyu | In front of Butterfly Mansion | 2,100 | Constant Flux (10%), Tier 2 |
Zoku is the softest target in that list and the only one with a drop rate above 20 percent, which makes him the standard first kill for a new character. Kaden and the Nomay Bandit Boss give a chest and nothing else, so there is no reason to camp them once the quest tied to each is done.

Zanegutsu Kuuchie sits on Zapiwara Mountain, which is one of the map points you reach through the horse travel menu rather than on foot. Unlocking that point first saves a long ride every time you reset the farm.

Sanemi stands in the open area behind the Wind Trainer’s cottage, up the stone steps. Killing a Hashira with their matching breathing style is what puts their final move in play, so bring Wind Breathing if the Idaten Typhoon roll is the goal.

Nezuko is the best value target on the starter map because she carries two separate rare rolls instead of one, and her health pool is well under the demon bosses at Ouwbayashi Home.

Ouwohana bosses and Tier 5 chests
| Boss | Location | HP | Drops |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rengoku | Rengoku’s Home | 3,500 | Purgatory (10%), Ore (10%), Tier 5 |
| Akeza | Akeza Cave | 3,500 | Annihilation Type (10%), Ore (10%), Tier 5 |
| Tengen | Near Sound Cave | 3,500 | String Performance (10%), Ore (10%), Tier 5 |
| Douma | Devourers Jaw | 3,000 | Bodhisattva (10%), Ore (10%), Tier 5 |
| Muichiro Tokito | Mist Trainer Location | 3,000 | Obscuring Clouds (10%), Tier 3 |
| Inosuke | Beast Cave | 3,000 | Devouring Rush (10%), Inosuke Pants (5%), Tier 3 |
| Enme | Near Frozen Lake | 3,000 | Flesh Monster (10%), Tier 3 |
| Swampy | Outskirts of Wop City | 2,700 | Swamp Domain (10%), Tier 3 |
| Snow Trainee | Snowy Place | 1,500 | Snowtide Vortex (6%), Tier 1 |
The four Tier 5 bosses also roll two daily spins at a 25 percent chance, which is the real reason to clear them once a day rather than once a week. Everything below Tier 5 is a move farm first and a chest farm second.
Boss names, entrances, and rewards are still shifting during early access. Re-check the map after a major update rather than assuming a spawn point has stayed put.
Run the central line first and the rest of the map falls into place. Obanai down to Fujiko is a single uninterrupted loop with no fast travel needed, the snow region is a clean second trip once you have the Emberheart Lantern, and the three hidden-entrance bosses — Akaza, Enmu, and Fujiko — are worth memorising because nothing on the map points you toward them.
