In Project Slayers 2, Muzan governs the Demon path and can be difficult to track down. He isn’t stationed at a permanent quest marker: he appears only at night, wanders through a few zones, and won’t acknowledge you unless your reputation is low enough. If either requirement is unmet, you could search the right place for a whole night cycle and never find him.
Quick answer: Drop your reputation to -40, wait for the server to hit night, then sweep Mistfall Harbor, Hidden Mist Village, the snow valley, or Oumi. If he is not patrolling, switch servers and repeat.
Muzan spawn requirements in Project Slayers 2
You need all three requirements to coincide. With any one missing, repeated trips around the right spot may still turn up nothing.
- Night only. No area can spawn Muzan in daylight.
- Reputation at -40 or lower. A message from Muzan appears at the left edge of the screen at every 10-point drop.
- You are inside a patrol zone. Being near it is not enough; you have to stand in the actual area he cycles through.
When the notice shows -40, switch from farming reputation to searching. Lowering it further has no effect until you have talked to him.

Add to Google Preferences →How to reach -40 reputation fast
In the starting village, taking out regular Civilian NPCs is the quickest method; every kill subtracts 1 reputation. Steer clear of quest-icon NPCs and characters with asterisks bracketing their names; either kind belongs to a quest line. Snow-region Slayer NPCs are also valid targets, and player kills count too, with higher-level players causing bigger reputation swings.
Use daytime for this. There is no reason to travel across the map at night, so farm reputation while the sun is up and position yourself near a patrol zone before night starts.
All Muzan patrol locations
Muzan follows a route inside each zone rather than standing still, so treat every landmark below as the middle of a search area, not an exact coordinate. When a location has upper and lower levels, check both before you give up on the server.
| Area | Start your sweep at | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Mistfall Harbor | Open ground near the Ginzo NPC | Closest to the starting village |
| Hidden Mist Village | Lowest wooden walkway | Drop through the mist first |
| Iceveil / Frost Valley | First campfire near the settlement | Cold damage without a lantern |
| Oumi / Demon Village | Streets around the Shrine | Check the lower level |
Mistfall Harbor
Most players locate him here because the spot is near the main spawn. Starting at Beginner Village, head northeast while dropping toward the large red gate; alternatively, exit the bear area to the north and use the compass to maintain that heading. He generally begins on the open ground ahead of Ginzo, then takes ramps between the harbor’s higher and lower roadways.

Do not leave after checking the gate alone. Sweep the main village area, the lower road, and the nearby buildings, because he often patrols away from the obvious landmark.
Hidden Mist Village
On the right side, the map’s white patch depicts only the upper level. Leave Mistfall Harbor by moving right; once the terrain becomes a wide break, descend into the canyon and travel through the mist toward the village itself, where wooden walkways are layered below.

Search the lowest walkway first by dropping down right away, rather than checking the upper boardwalks. Then sweep all the central bridges instead of limiting your search to the landing spot.

Iceveil / Frost Valley (snow biome)
From Beginner Village, go south into the snow biome. Near the settlement, find the first campfire; Muzan often travels from there along the road toward the village. He also uses the ramp to the left of the Tengai boss spawn, near the Clothing Shop. To reach the entrance, pass the gates where Old Trapper Retsu sits and climb several slopes toward the guard icon.

Set your spawn at the purple crystal beside the guard; that way, dying once won’t cost you the trip. Before leaving, check the campfire and the settlement square beside the red torii gate.
Oumi and the Demon Village streets
The Shrine marker shows the zone, not Muzan’s precise location. He may be anywhere in town—even on the bottom level or in spaces behind houses—which makes him easy to miss as you pass.
Take your time on the village streets rather than racing through. Muzan makes regular rounds and often stands concealed behind a building, out of sight from the main path. Check each corner carefully and search the lower tier before heading out.
Surviving the snow biome cold
The snow region deals continuous cold damage that drains your health the whole time you search. Bring at least 600 to 700+ maximum HP before you go in, or you will die mid-sweep.
Standing directly next to a lit campfire stops the cold damage and rapidly refills your HP, so plan your route campfire to campfire. The cleaner fix is the Emberheart Lantern, which grants Cold Immunity and comes from the Yeti boss. With it you can search freely without stopping to warm up.
Use boss icons to narrow the search
From the map, open Map Settings and enable Boss Names. Muzan’s pink marker will then appear, helping you identify which town or zone to search on that server. In the same menu, you can adjust Area Names, Areas, Shrine Names, Shrines, and Quest Icons to leave only the map details useful for your hunt.

Server hopping when Muzan does not spawn
If Muzan hasn’t appeared after you’ve searched an area for a full night, change servers rather than waiting there. Server-hopping is the intended method, not merely a backup plan. A new instance rolls the night cycle and Muzan’s spawn again, saving time compared with sitting through a full day on a server where he never showed.
Join an instance, verify that it is nighttime, make a quick circuit of your selected area, and switch servers afterward. Repeating short scouting visits beats staying on a single long patrol. When Roblox sends you back into the same instance, select another server yourself from the game’s page rather than hitting rejoin. Blocking a player in that server before reconnecting may also lower the chance of returning there.
How to confirm you found Muzan
Look for a human-shaped NPC with red eyes, wearing a dark suit and fedora; Muzan is the sole name displayed above him. Approach to bring up his interaction prompt, which uses T for Muzan Chat. Speak with him, but don’t attack him: his blood is earned as a quest reward, not obtained as a drop.

His response confirms that your reputation meets the requirement. Muzan then assigns his questline, gives you a bell that takes you to his domain, and places a quest marker on your screen. The chain opens with the Spider Lilies, followed by taking Dr. Higoshima to him; complete it to receive Muzan’s Blood, which converts your avatar to Demon form. If he speaks but gives you no reward, inspect your inventory: he turns away anyone already carrying Muzan’s Blood.
