Ore is the premium currency in Slayers 2 that you never have to pay for. It sits alongside Wen, the normal money you earn from quests and selling loot, and it unlocks the part of the shop that would otherwise cost Robux — boosts, character resets, and spins. The catch is that ore trickles in slowly, and only two of its sources can be farmed over and over.
Quick answer: Ore comes from boss chests, fishing, certain quests, Final Selection, and codes. Only boss chests and fishing repeat, so those are the two sources worth farming.
Every ore source in Slayers 2
| Source | Repeatable | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Boss chests | Yes | Marked by a red circle; world bosses give four |
| Fishing | Yes | Also pulls other items and sellable loot |
| Quests | No | Specific quests only, one payout each |
| Final Selection | Once per run | Guaranteed ore on the Slayer path |
| Codes | While active | Some code drops include ore or Wen |
General world chests can also roll ore, but the odds are low on most tiers and better on the high ones. Treat those as a bonus you pick up while questing rather than a farm.

Stick to bosses and chests that sit along your current quest route. Server hopping for chests pays far less per hour than clearing content you were already going to clear.
Fishing for ore
Fishing is the second repeatable ore source and the calmer one. It has no spawn timer, no travel, and no risk of dying to a boss you undergeared into, so it works well while you wait for a spawn window to come back around.
It also pulls in items you can sell for Wen, which matters because trainer fees and weapon upgrades run on Wen rather than ore. Running fishing between boss cycles keeps both currencies moving at once.
One-time ore from quests and Final Selection
Some quests pay out ore, and each of those payouts happens exactly once. That makes them free ore, but never a farm. Clear them as you progress instead of saving them for later, and do not skip side quests in the starting area — several of them gate progression you will need at higher levels.

Finishing Final Selection on the Slayer path guarantees an ore package, along with the uniform and crow. Should you repeat Selection after a race reset, use the newly gained ore to fund the next attempt; the cycle is worthwhile only when the chests you open exceed the reset cost and the time invested.
What ore buys in the shop
Open the menu with M and pick the money bag icon to reach the shop. There is a toggle at the top that switches prices between Robux and ore, so check it before you buy anything — the same item can be paid for either way.

The ore side of the shop splits into three groups.
- Timed boosts: 2x EXP (30m), 2x Wen (15m), 2x Luck (15m), 1x Mastery (30m), 2x Soul Points (30m).
- Resets: Breathing, Fighting Style, Evil Art, Race, Skill Points, Reputation.
- Spins and passes, including clan spins you would otherwise buy with Robux.
The 4x Luck option is not an ore purchase. It is locked behind VIP, and the shop says so directly when you select it.
Race reset is the heaviest button here. It turns a Slayer back into a human for another Final Selection run or flips your identity after a demon experiment, so decide what you want your character to be before you spend. Boosts are best saved for a planned farm or an exam window rather than clicked the moment you can afford them.
How to confirm you actually received ore
After a chest, a fishing pull, or a quest hand-in, press M and check your inventory. Ore appears as a material item there, and the All tab shows it alongside your equipment, potions, and quest items.

The faster check is the shop itself. Switch the payment toggle to ore and look at whether an item you can afford is selectable — if the purchase goes through and the item appears in your boosts or applies to your character, the currency landed.
Ore adds up slowly by design, and Wen refills far faster than it does. Keep fishing and boss chests in your normal play loop, take the quest and Final Selection payouts as they come, and hold the rest until you know exactly which reset or boost you want.
