Domain Genesis is the current Pure Fiction rotation in Honkai: Star Rail, and Domain Genesis (IV) with Starward Mode attached is where the bulk of the Stellar Jade sits. The whole phase is built around Punchline generation and the Elation Skill, so teams that stack kills quickly run away with the score while slower single-target setups stall out.
Quick answer: Starward Mode runs three nodes worth 40,000 points each. Clearing all three at or near maximum passes every objective through 99,000 points. The phase runs until October 19th, 2026.
Domain Genesis (IV) point targets and phase window
The clear target and the four bonus objectives all read off one cumulative score. Three nodes at the 40,000 cap add up to a 120,000 maximum, which leaves a comfortable margin over the top 99,000 objective.
| Objective | Points needed |
|---|---|
| Clear target | 45,000 |
| Objective 1 | 60,000 |
| Objective 2 | 75,000 |
| Objective 3 | 90,000 |
| Objective 4 | 99,000 |
The Domain Genesis phase began on September 14th, 2026 and runs through October 19th, 2026. Pure Fiction always resets on a Monday at 04:00 server time, with a new phase every three weeks and each phase staying live for six weeks.

Add to Google Preferences →How Punchline, Concordant Truce, and Surging Grit work
The grit mechanic for this rotation is called Punchline Acquisition, and it ties your grit bar directly to Aha’s Punchline economy rather than to follow-up attacks or ultimates. Every Punchline your side gains also feeds the grit meter.
- Punchline Acquisition: each Punchline gained grants allies an extra 2 Grit Value.
- Concordant Truce: entering Aha Instant deals 15 instances of Imaginary Elation DMG to a random enemy.
- Concordant Truce kill bonus: any enemy defeated by any target grants 1 Punchline point.
- Surging Grit entry: Aha immediately takes an extra turn counting a fixed 20 Punchline, with no Punchline consumed that turn.
- Surging Grit penalty: Elation Skill DMG during that free turn is halved.
- Surging Grit buffs: enemies take 50% more damage and Aha Instant gains 40 SPD.
The practical loop is simple. Kill trash fast, bank Punchline, trip Surging Grit, then unload while the 50% vulnerability window is open. Because kills themselves generate Punchline, wide AoE is worth more here than a single big hit on the elite.

Bring at least one Elation character per node. The Elation Skill is what converts your Punchline stockpile into damage, so a team with none of it wastes the stage’s main scoring lever.
Starward Mode node enemies
Each node is three waves long. Wave one is always the Fictional Ensemble mob pack, wave two is an elite, and wave three is the Lv. 85 boss listed on the node select screen.
| Node | Wave 2 elite | Wave 3 boss |
|---|---|---|
| Node 1 | Noontide Gryphon | Swarm: True Sting |
| Node 2 | Aurumaton Spectral Envoy | Paramount Bliss Inverted / Elwish Archlotus |
| Node 3 | Rocking Rebel | Borisin Warhead: Hoolay |
Node 1 is the cleanest of the three. The Gryphon wave feeds a steady stream of kills into your Punchline counter, and the Swarm boss keeps adding bodies to the field, which is exactly what an Elation carry wants.

Node 2 is the longest fight of the set. The Aurumaton elite eats time before you reach the Paramount boss pair, so the node usually needs a sustain unit to survive the stretch between Surging Grit windows.

Three teams that clear Domain Genesis (IV)
A full run using an Elation hypercarry, a follow-up team, and an ultimate-focused Destruction core lands 119,720 points in total, which clears every objective on the board with room to spare.
| Node | Team | Score |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Evanescia, Yao Guang, Jelo, Huohuo | 40,000 |
| 2 | Aventurine – Waveflair, Ashveil, Mortenax Blade, Hyacine | 40,000 |
| 3 | Saber, Gilgamesh, Robin – Summeretto, Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae | 39,720 |
Node 1: Evanescia hypercarry
Evanescia carries three Elation units into the Swarm node, with Yao Guang and Jelo both feeding the Punchline count and Huohuo covering healing on the Abundance slot. The team caps the node score by triggering Surging Grit during the first wave and keeping Aha Instant rolling through the boss phase.

Node 2: Aventurine – Waveflair follow-up
Aventurine – Waveflair sits on the Elation path here and pairs with Ashveil on The Hunt for concentrated single-target pressure. Mortenax Blade covers the Nihility slot and Hyacine handles healing from Remembrance, which matters over a node this long.
Node 3: Saber and Gilgamesh
Saber and Gilgamesh double up on Destruction for ultimate-driven burst, backed by Robin – Summeretto on Remembrance and Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae on Preservation. This is the one node in the set that fell short of the cap, finishing at 39,720 against Borisin Warhead: Hoolay.
Relic and light cone setups used in the clear
| Character | Path | Relic set | Planar ornament |
|---|---|---|---|
| Evanescia | Elation | Ever-Glorious Magical Girl | Punklorde Stage Zero |
| Yao Guang | Elation | Diviner of Distant Reach | Sprightly Vonwacq |
| Huohuo | Abundance | Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder | Broken Keel |
| Ashveil | The Hunt | The Ashblazing Grand Duke | City of Converging Stars |
| Mortenax Blade | Nihility | Divine-Querying Master Smith | Sprightly Vonwacq |
| Hyacine | Remembrance | Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding | Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder |
| Saber | Destruction | Scholar Lost in Erudition | Cosmic Life Sciences Institute |
| Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae | Preservation | Self-Enshrouded Recluse | Lushaka, the Sunken Seas |
On light cones, Yao Guang runs When She Decided to See, Hyacine runs Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky, and Saber runs A Thankless Coronation. None of these clears depend on maxed superimpositions, and Node 1 and Node 2 both reached the score cap without heavy eidolon investment.
Rewards and how to confirm a full clear
Each node ends on a Challenge Ended screen showing the points earned for that node, and the run closes on a Challenge Completed screen with your cumulative total. If that total sits at or above 99,000, every objective for the phase is ticked and the insignia rewards unlock.
| Milestone | Reward |
|---|---|
| Clear a stage | Lost Crystal x6, Lucent Afterglow x24, Traveler’s Guide x6, Refined Aether x3, 30,000 Credits |
| Insignia 1-8 | Stellar Jade x60, 20,000 Credits each |
| Insignia 7 and 8 | Jade Feather x100 extra |
| Insignia 9-12 | Stellar Jade x80, Jade Feather x100 each |
Clearing Stage 2 of Pure Fiction also hands over Lynx as a free four-star, which is a one-time unlock rather than a per-phase reward.
Since scores carry across the whole phase, there is no need to finish all three nodes in one sitting. Bank Node 1 with your strongest Elation team, come back for Node 2 once you have a healer slotted in, and leave the Borisin Warhead node for last, since that is where the final few hundred points tend to slip away.
