HSR Pure Fiction 4.5 Starward Mode Guide – Teams for a 120,000 Score

Node lineups, Grit Mechanic picks, and the twelve character builds behind a maximum-score Domain Genesis (IV) clear.

Pure Fiction in Version 4.5 runs under the label Domain Genesis (IV), and turning on Starward Mode adds a third node on top of the usual two. Each node is worth 40,000 points, the enemies sit at Lv. 85, and the three Grit Mechanics on offer — Punchline Acquisition, Euphoria, and Delirium — decide which kind of team gets the most out of each stage.

Quick answer: Clear all three Domain Genesis (IV) nodes at 40,000 points each for a perfect 120,000. With Starward Mode enabled, the base 800 Stellar Jades unlock at 90,000 and the extra 100 at 99,000.

Score thresholds with Starward Mode on

Enabling the third node raises the ceiling to 120,000, but it also raises the bar for the standard rewards. There is no scoring discount for attempting Starward Mode, so a weak third team costs you points rather than saving them.

SetupMax score800 Stellar JadesExtra 100 Jades
Standard (2 nodes)80,00060,000
Starward (3 nodes)120,00090,00099,000

In practice that means 30,000 points per node for the base payout and 33,000 per node for the full 900.

Domain Genesis (IV) enemy lineup

Every node opens with a Fictional Ensemble wave, then an elite, then the closing threat. Knowing which boss sits at the end shapes how much single-target damage you need to hold back.

Grit Mechanics and Surging Grit

You pick a Grit Mechanic before entering each node, and the choice is independent per node. The three options push different damage patterns:

  • Punchline Acquisition — feeds Grit off repeated hits and suits freeze-and-shatter pressure.
  • Euphoria — raises follow-up attack damage, which is what Elation teams live on.
  • Delirium — speeds up actions and keeps follow-up attacks chaining.

Grit Value builds as you land hits, with the gain shown on screen as a small counter next to the enemy you strike. When the meter fills to 100 percent, the fight moves into the Surging Grit phase, which is where the bulk of a 40,000-point score is generated.

Node 1 team: Castorice with Punchline Acquisition

CharacterHP / ATKSPDCRIT Rate / DMG
Castorice9564 / 15478766.1% / 207.1%
Evernight7702 / 142511066.3% / 192.2%
Tribbie5392 / 13948851.6% / 229.2%
Hyacine4941 / 12171105.0% / 71.3%

Castorice anchors a Remembrance core here, with Evernight and Tribbie stacking follow-up attacks to fill the Grit meter quickly and Hyacine keeping the team alive through the elite wave. Castorice and Tribbie both run Poet of Mourning Collapse, Evernight uses World-Remaking Deliverer, and Hyacine sits on Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder. Evernight’s light cone is To Evernight’s Stars, while Tribbie carries Dance! Dance! Dance!

The opening wave exists mainly to charge Grit. Once the meter hits 100 percent, the Surging Grit burst does the heavy lifting against Noontide Gryphon and carries into the closing fight.

Swarm: True Sting closes the node. A warning banner flags the enemy enhancement partway through, so keep a Surging Grit window available for the final stretch rather than burning it early.

Node 2 team: Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Elation with Euphoria

CharacterHP / ATKSPDCRIT Rate / DMG
Silver Wolf LV.9993075 / 178011085.5% / 128.8%
Sparxie3214 / 118410784.7% / 214.5%
Yao Guang3526 / 134710161.2% / 132.2%
Huohuo4156 / 10149833.1% / 68.1%

Euphoria pairs directly with the Elation core, since the mechanic boosts the follow-up damage this team already generates in volume. Silver Wolf LV.999 runs Welcome to the Cosmic Arcade and shares the Ever-Glorious Magical Girl set with Sparxie. Yao Guang uses Diviner of Distant Reach, and Huohuo holds the team together on Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder.

The Aurumaton Spectral Envoy wave falls fast to chained follow-ups, and the node ends against Paramount Bliss Inverted: Illwish Archlotus. Keep the rotation uninterrupted rather than saving resources, because Grit refills quickly with this many attack instances per cycle.

Node 3 team: Himeko • Nova with Delirium

CharacterHP / ATKSPDCRIT Rate / DMG
Himeko • Nova3128 / 37929897.5% / 92.7%
Robin • Summeretto6794 / 11839536.7% / 103.1%
Welt3136 / 2222975.0% / 50.0%
Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae3222 / 952975.0% / 50.0%

Himeko • Nova is the damage source, with Robin • Summeretto and Welt shaping the turn order and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae covering survivability. Himeko runs the Navigator’s Deep Space Mirror set, Robin uses World-Remaking Deliverer alongside Rise and Sing, and Welt pairs Eagle of Twilight Line with Before the Tutorial Mission Starts. Dan Heng carries Journey, Forever Peaceful.

Delirium rewards steady input, so basic attacks and skills are used early to get the meter moving before the follow-up chain takes over. Rocking Rebel occupies the middle wave, and Borisin Warhead: Hoolay ends the node.

Other teams that max the same nodes

The same three stages have also been cleared at full score with a different roster, which is useful if your account is missing the Remembrance core. Aventurine – Waveflair, on Summer Rides the Surf, leads the first node into Swarm: True Sting alongside Pearl and Yao Guang. Silver Wolf LV.999 fronts the second node against Illwish Archlotus, and Evanescia, running Until the Flowers Bloom, closes out the Hoolay node with the Elation Trailblazer on Elation Brimming With Brilliance.

Elation teams slot into any of the three nodes, so if you only have one premium follow-up core, place it where your other two teams are weakest rather than defaulting to the first node.

Confirming the full clear

Each node reports its score the moment the third wave ends, and a perfect run shows 40000 on every one. After the final node, the results screen reads Challenge Ended Score: 120000, all Star Targets register as completed, and the clearance medal is awarded along with every reward tier.

If a node lands short of 40,000, only that node needs to be re-run. Scores are tracked per node, so a 33,000-plus result on each of the three is enough to secure the full 900 Stellar Jades even without a perfect total.
