Ra Ana is the second Mythic hero skin for Ana, arriving in the Season 2 midcycle of Reign of Talon. The look reimagines Ana as a young, sun-touched divinity, leaning on Egyptian-inspired headpieces, gold detailing, and layered light effects. It is a Mythic Shop release, which means progression runs on Mythic Prisms rather than a battle pass tier line.
Quick answer: Unlock Ra Ana by spending 50 Mythic Prisms on Level 1 in the Mythic Shop, then 10 Prisms each for Levels 2, 3, and 4 to reach the fully customized skin (80 Prisms total). Prisms are earned through the Season 2 Premium Battle Pass or purchased directly from Blizzard.

What Ra Ana is
Ra Ana is built around Mythic-tier customization rather than a single fixed look. The skin presents a young version of Ana styled as a solar deity, with headpiece swaps, color palette options, and toggleable visual effects on both her abilities and her idle silhouette. It pairs thematically with Ana's earlier Midnight Sun Mythic weapon, giving Ana players a matched set of Mythic hero skin and Mythic weapon for the first time.
The skin is sold through the Mythic Shop and uses the same four-level structure as other recent Mythic hero skins. Each level adds a new layer of customization on top of what came before, and you can stop at any tier you like.
Ra Ana variants by level
Every level adds a specific category of customization. Level 1 is the entry point that grants the base skin. Levels 2 through 4 layer on hairstyles, headpieces, color schemes, and ambient effects.
| Level | What it unlocks |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | Base Ra Ana skin and the Ability VFX Toggle, adding a solar combat aura to her abilities. |
| Level 2 | Extra hairstyles plus ornate headpiece variations that change Ana's silhouette. |
| Level 3 | Two alternate colorways: royal purple and gold, and sun-warmed pink and sand. |
| Level 4 | Ambient VFX Toggle, which wraps Ana in a constant luminous glow outside of combat. |
Beyond the four standard levels, Ra Ana also supports Gilded and Iridescent Aspects. These are separate Mythic customization layers that sit on top of a fully unlocked skin and apply additional finishes (such as the signature black-and-gold Gilded treatment). Aspects require their own Mythic Prism spend and are optional cosmetics rather than part of the core 80-Prism progression.

How to unlock Ra Ana
Ra Ana lives in the Mythic Shop, accessed from the in-game shop tab during Season 2's midcycle. The currency you need is Mythic Prisms. Spending follows the standard Mythic hero skin cost curve, with Level 1 acting as the largest single purchase and each later level priced at 10 Prisms.
Step 1: Earn or purchase Mythic Prisms. The Season 2 Premium Battle Pass grants up to 80 Mythic Prisms across its tiers, which is exactly enough to fully complete Ra Ana through Level 4. Prisms can also be bought directly from Blizzard's store in packs of 10, 30, 50, or 100.

Step 2: Open the Mythic Shop from the in-game shop and select Ra Ana. Spend 50 Mythic Prisms to unlock Level 1, which immediately equips the base skin and enables the Ability VFX Toggle in Ana's hero customization menu.
Step 3: Purchase each higher tier for 10 Mythic Prisms apiece. Level 2 adds the hairstyles and headpieces, Level 3 unlocks the two extra colorways, and Level 4 enables the Ambient VFX Toggle. You do not have to buy them in one session; tiers can be claimed whenever you have the Prisms.
Step 4: Apply customization from Ana's hero gallery. Once a tier is purchased, hairstyle, headpiece, colorway, and VFX options appear as toggles inside Ra Ana's skin entry, so you can mix and match without re-buying anything.

Mythic Prism cost summary
| Tier | Mythic Prism cost | Running total |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 (base skin) | 50 | 50 |
| Level 2 | 10 | 60 |
| Level 3 | 10 | 70 |
| Level 4 | 10 | 80 |
Earning the 80 Prisms from the Battle Pass
The Season 2 Premium Battle Pass distributes Mythic Prisms in 10-Prism chunks at tiers 8, 18, 28, 38, 48, 58, 68, and 78. Completing all eight of those premium tiers gives you the full 80 Prisms required for Ra Ana. The free track does not grant Mythic Prisms, so the Premium Battle Pass (or a direct Prism purchase) is required to reach Level 4 without paying per-Prism prices.
Battle Pass progress carries across the season, so even players starting late in the midcycle can still earn the full 80 Prisms before Season 2 ends, provided they own the Premium track and complete tier 78.

Confirming the unlock worked
After spending Prisms in the Mythic Shop, Ra Ana shows up in Ana's skin list with a Mythic tag. The level you purchased is displayed on the skin card, and any toggles you unlocked (hairstyles, colorways, Ability VFX, Ambient VFX) appear as selectable options in the customization panel for that skin. If a toggle is missing, you have not yet purchased the tier that contains it.
Mythic Prism balance updates instantly after each purchase, and Battle Pass-earned Prisms appear in your wallet as you cross the relevant premium tiers.
Things worth knowing before buying
Ra Ana is a hero skin, not a weapon. Equipping it does not replace Ana's Midnight Sun Mythic weapon, so the two can be used together. The skin does not change Ana's hitbox, audio cues for enemies, or gameplay in any way; all effects are visual and apply to your own client view of the character.
Once a Mythic skin leaves the active Mythic Shop rotation, it can return in later seasons. If you cannot complete Ra Ana during Season 2's midcycle window, the skin and its tiers are expected to cycle back through the Mythic Shop in a future season at the same Prism costs.
