Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy: All 14 Chapters and Every Collectible

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy follows Sophia roughly 15 years before her role in Requiem, taking her from the Plunderers’ world into the ruins of the island of Minos. The game runs across 14 chapters, each split into shorter subchapters you can replay from the chapter menu, and it hides four separate types of collectibles along the way. Here is exactly how the chapters break down and where each collectible category lives.

Quick answer: There are 14 chapters and 72 base-game collectibles to find: 7 Blades, 35 Artifacts (Past and Present), 25 Charms, and 5 Theseus Echoes (Pierced Coins). Chapters 8 and 14 hold no collectibles.

All 14 chapters and their subchapters

Every chapter is divided into named subchapters, which double as replay checkpoints. Use them to jump back to a specific area if you missed a Blade, Artifact, Charm, or Pierced Coin the first time through.

The four collectible types

Collectibles fall into four categories, and each behaves a little differently. Blades come from Hero Graves and count toward a fixed set of locations. Artifacts are split between Present and Past variants. Charms cover several accessory subtypes, and Theseus Echoes are Pierced Coins tied to specific mid-game chapters.

Collectibles by chapter

The counts below show what to hunt for in each chapter that contains collectibles. Chapter 8 (Resonance) is a story interlude and Chapter 14 (What Remains) is a short epilogue, so neither holds anything to collect. The final Blade appears in Chapter 10, and all five Pierced Coins are concentrated between Chapters 5 and 10.

Where the collectibles cluster

If you want to plan a completion run, a few chapters carry most of the load. Chapter 3 (Those Before Us) is a combat-free exploration stretch through Minoan ruins and holds ten items on its own. Chapters 5 and 7 are the other heavy ones, each mixing five Charms with a stack of Artifacts and a Pierced Coin.

  • The first Blade (Rusty Sword) is unlocked automatically during training in Chapter 1, so you cannot miss it.
  • The final Blade is found in Chapter 10, alongside a new Sphere ability in Daedalus’ Workshop.
  • All five Theseus Echoes fall in Chapters 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10, so there are none to hunt in the opening or closing stretch.
  • Chapters 8 and 14 contain no collectibles at all.

How to confirm you have everything

Because chapters lock behind story progress, the safest way to reach 100 percent is to check each chapter’s tally before moving on. Cross-reference the per-chapter counts above against your in-game collection menu after finishing a chapter. If a number is short, reload the relevant subchapter from the chapter select and sweep the optional paths, since most Artifacts and Charms sit just off the main route.

Add up all four categories and you should land on 72 collectibles across the base game once every chapter is cleared. Note that a ninth Blade location exists if you include the DLC, which sits outside the seven base-game Blades counted here.
