The Halloween event in Ride A Pet swaps the usual egg hunt for a candy run. You travel into a dark seasonal world, gather candy while screen curses fight you, and hand it in for Halloween Tokens. Save 350 tokens and you can buy the limited Halloween Egg, an Ethereal-rarity egg that hatches six new pets.
Quick answer: Enter the pumpkin-tree portal next to the Ranches, pick up candy, carry it to the Drop Off Candy station before it spoils, and spend 350 Halloween Tokens at the Halloween Eggs stall.
How to enter the Halloween World
From the main ranch, look for a large hollow carved pumpkin tree glowing orange on the inside. It sits right next to the Ranches, near the Gears Shop. Walk through the root tunnel and the bright overworld swaps for a dark map with red ground, twisted trees, jack-o’-lanterns, and a corn maze.
A timer sits above the portal showing how long the event world stays open. If the portal does not load for you, finishing your first Rebirth is the reported way to unlock access.

Add to Google Preferences →Three ways to collect candy
You can get Halloween Tokens only from candy. Each variety awards a different amount, with the more valuable pieces generally farther from the central station. Three dependable methods will help you locate candy.
- Ground pickups: Look for candy laid out along trails, through tunnels, and around the map’s edges. Hold E to pick it up. Most of your supply comes from these pieces.
- Trick or Treat: knock on the house doors to get candy or a “Trick! Nothing This Time” result. A short cooldown follows each knock, so rotate between doors instead of waiting.
- Pumpkin Patch: At the zone’s far end, look through the rotten pumpkins for candy. They yield generous quantities of high-rarity pieces, making the trip worthwhile and this the quickest way to earn tokens.
Curses and the spoil timer
The moment you grab a piece, a “Candy Will Spoil” countdown begins and a random curse takes hold until you drop the candy off. Deliver it before the bar empties or the trip is wasted. The timer usually runs somewhere between 25 and 37 seconds.
The curses mess with your camera or controls on the way back. Known effects include:
- Upside-down or inverted vision
- Limited vision, with a dark spotlight around the screen
- A spiral screen rotation
- Reversed movement and camera panning
- Glitch jumpscares every one to two seconds
- Movement and jump height cut to one-third
When the view flips or turns dark, navigate using the green arrow marked with a house. It points straight to the Drop Off Candy station next to the entrance cauldron. Aim your mount at the drop-off before picking up candy; afterward, keep moving forward and make small steering corrections, even with the view inverted.
How many tokens candy is worth
When you deposit candy, a “+X Halloween Tokens” message appears to confirm the deposit counted. Pieces near the cauldron are common and award little, whereas the most valuable candy near the map’s outer edges gives up to +12 tokens per piece. For better returns, make a circuit around the perimeter instead of staying by the drop-off.
| Candy value | Where it tends to sit |
|---|---|
| +1 to +3 tokens | Near the cauldron and starting area |
| +4 to +6 tokens | Mid-distance clearings and houses |
| +10 to +12 tokens | Outer edges, cliffs, and the Pumpkin Patch |
Candy of higher rarity spoils more quickly, so consider how far you must travel before going after it. If the drop-off is distant, a common piece you can deliver safely is better than a rare one that puts the trip at risk. With common drops worth about three tokens apiece, a steady route is needed to earn 350.
Buying the Halloween Egg
Find the stall labeled “Halloween Eggs” and speak to its NPC. This opens the “HALLOWEEN EGG!” menu, where a Limited Time badge appears beside the price: 350 Halloween Tokens. Payment comes from tokens earned in the game rather than Robux, so collect all 350 before buying each egg.
Classified as Ethereal, the Halloween Egg has exceptionally high base luck, making every hatch a high-rarity pet. It appears at the same world locations as Solaris Eggs, and the Eternal Radar can track it. These are the six pets available from its hatches:
- Pumpkin Toad
- Ghostweaver
- Ghost Cat
- Raptor
- Sabertooth
- Skeletal Dragon
Because the pets land at mixed usefulness, you may need several eggs before you get the one you want. Keep farming tokens if you are chasing a specific pet.
The Premium Halloween Egg (Robux)
A different Halloween Egg is available in the in-game Shop for Robux: the Premium Halloween Egg. Its Instant Hatch label means incubation is skipped, and it is sold in bundles of rolls. Among its listed pets are the Gelator Dragon and the Sabertooth.
| Bundle | Robux |
|---|---|
| 1 Roll | 60 |
| 5 Rolls | 280 |
| 50 Rolls | 2,800 |
The bulk discount is small, around seven percent, so there is little reason to buy the large pack just for the saving. A separate Shop item, the Giant Egg, also carries an Instant Hatch label and produces a random HUGE pet.
Halloween Eggs that spawn in the world
A Large Halloween Egg can spawn on its own across the map. A server banner announces it with a weight, with examples like 254.2 KG and 15 KG, and its luck can hit huge values such as 1 Trillion. Picking one up starts an “Egg Will Break” countdown.
You must carry the egg to a base or nest before the timer runs out, or it disappears. The clock is short and the egg must cross the map, so a fast flying mount like the Phoenix is the practical choice. The same carrying rule used for Solaris, Azure, and Volcanic eggs applies here.
Weather and mutation events take place alongside world egg spawns. In those periods, alerts may announce “Dreadful Storm Has Arrived” or report that a pet has received a Void or Rage trait; the event applies mutations to the spawns.
New pets and hatch odds
In addition to the candy loop, the update widens the roster and revises hatch odds for several existing pets. It brings 3 new Ethereal pets, 10 new pets, and 1 new secret pet, along with these balance changes:
- Buffed odds across the range between Cerberus and Kitsune
- Improved odds for Dragon and Griffin
- Two new pets added to the Volcanic Egg
- Buffs to the Black Hole and Solarius eggs
The revised percentages haven’t been revealed. These event additions join the broader roster, whose egg families still include Blackhole, Cherub, Galaxy, Aurora, Dragon, and Flame.
The Halloween ritual
A new ritual is associated with a yin-yang-style gate, but its completion method remains uncertain. The working theory is that placing two halves into the gate opens it; which items make up those halves is still unknown.
Codes
Ride A Pet has no code redemption menu and no active codes. Nothing was added for Halloween, so ignore any site promising event codes. The candy-to-token loop and the egg stall are the only in-game progression path for the event. You can confirm the live state by opening the Ride A Pet experience on Roblox and reading the current title and description.
How long the event runs
The event is live now. Roblox’s Virtual Events listing gives it a window of 10 October to 17 October 2026, 13:00 UTC (21:00 China Standard Time on each date), under an event id that was previously named Update 4 before being renamed. In-game, the countdown above the portal shows roughly 28 days of runtime, which points toward the token loop staying open into early November.
Since the egg carries a Limited Time label, start saving tokens early instead of waiting until the last days to gather all 350. Equip your fastest pet before you enter, collect valuable candy at the Pumpkin Patch, follow the outer edges, then head back to the cauldron after each run.
