Radars are the fastest way to find a specific egg in Ride a Pet without memorizing spawn routes. Each one is a single-use gear item that, once activated, points straight toward the best egg of a matching rarity currently on the map. There are six cash Radars sold from the Gears Shop at the centre of the ranch, climbing from Rare eggs all the way to Ethereal.
Quick answer: Buy the Radar whose rarity matches the egg you want from the Gears Shop, equip it, then click to activate. It points you to that egg for about five minutes and is consumed after one use.

All Ride a Pet Radars, costs, and tracked eggs
The six Radars are priced by the rarity band they locate. A higher price does not guarantee that an egg of that tier is active on the map, so match the Radar to the rarity you can actually reach and hatch before spending.
| Radar | Cost | Rarity | Eggs it points to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Advanced Radar | $50 | Rare | Cracked, Easter, Stone, Leaf |
| Jewel Radar | $3K | Epic | Mushroom, Flower, Slime, Ice |
| Royal Radar | $20K | Legendary | Glass, Golden |
| Magic Radar | $300K | Mythic | The egg types are Crystal, Skull, Dominus, Flaming, Sinister, and Soul. |
| Angelic Radar | $7M | Divine | Aurora, Galaxy |
| Eternal Radar | $30M | Ethereal | Blackhole, Cherub |
When a Radar fires, it locks onto the single best egg of that rarity currently spawned, not a random one. Using the Jewel Radar, for example, directs you to the highest-value Epic egg on the map at that moment.
The Eternal Radar locates Blackhole and Cherub eggs, but it does not point to the Volcanic Egg. That Ethereal egg only spawns inside Dragon’s Lair on Volcano Island and requires a flying pet to reach.

Every standard Radar follows the same buy-equip-activate loop, and each charge disappears after a single use. Stock is limited, so higher tiers can sell out until the shop restocks.

The Radar is working when its direction arrow and distance readout show up on screen. When its charge runs out, a completion message may appear—for example, “Royal Radar Finished”—and the item is consumed, so you’ll need to purchase another.
If you need a Radar that shows “No Stock,” you can force a restock at the Gears Shop for $3,000. Stocking several at once saves repeat trips during active egg spawns.
Infinite Radar game pass
The Infinite Radar is a separate game pass rather than a shop item. It costs 399 Robux, stays in your inventory permanently, and allows unlimited uses with no cooldown. Instead of pointing across the map, it reveals eggs that are hidden from plain view, such as those tucked into tree branches when you activate it nearby.
You can find rare eggs without it. A cash Radar that matches the egg rarity, together with the in-game tracker, is enough for the standard hunting loop; the game pass is mainly useful if stock limits or single-use charges repeatedly cut your runs short. Because the Robux price may change, check the current shop card before purchasing.

Which Radar to prioritize
Start with the Advanced Radar at $50 while you learn the map and build plot income. Move up to the Royal Radar at $20K once your earnings can cover it comfortably, then the Angelic Radar at $7M for Divine eggs and the Eternal Radar at $30M for Ethereal eggs when they are in stock.
Check the in-game tracker for what is actually spawned before you spend. If the board only shows low-value targets, it is worth waiting for the reset rather than burning a charge on an egg you do not need.
