Ride a Pet Solaris Egg: All Spawn Locations and the 20-Second Timer

Where the Ethereal-rarity Solaris Egg appears, and how to get it into a nest before the 20-second timer ends.

Where the Ethereal-rarity Solaris Egg appears, and how to get it into a nest before the 20-second timer ends.

The Solaris Egg arrived with the Mutations update in Ride a Pet, and it sits in the Ethereal tier alongside the Black Hole Egg and the Cherub Egg. It carries a luck value of 300B, above the Black Hole Egg’s 100B and below the Cherub Egg’s 1T. When one appears, the whole server sees a Solaris Egg Has Spawned banner, which means five other players are already moving toward the same four areas you are.

Quick answer: Visit Giant Tree, the waterfall cave, the Grey Mountain opening, and Desert Pyramid; once you claim the egg, place it in a nest within 20 seconds.

All Solaris Egg spawn locations in Ride a Pet

The Solaris Egg uses spawn points that also belong to Black Hole Egg and Cherub Egg, making one practiced route useful for all three. Four regions are confirmed, and each contains tucked-away spots players overlook when the obvious surface has nothing.

Giant Tree

From the central plot, pass behind Sell Shop and continue straight until Giant Tree dominates your view. Fly up to the top platform, inspect the little cabin room, and then search the trunk’s hollow interior, where eggs appear on raised ledges instead of exposed ground.

Once the interior is checked, circle the top platform and inspect its branches, including the pair hanging lower than the others. Both foliage and limbs can host a spawn. A flying mount clears this section quickest, so it is the usual starting point before moving elsewhere.

Cave behind the waterfall

Start behind the Track Shop and follow the river upstream to the big waterfall, then fly straight through the falling water to get inside. Search behind the crystals, on the raised platforms along both walls, and in the corners at the far end. The central path is the least likely place for it to land.

An empty interior does not mean an empty area. Exit through the large opening at the back and scan the cliffs on both sides, including the crevices and narrow ledges in the rock face. Skipping that outdoor sweep is the single most common reason players write off the cave too early.

Grey Mountain

Travel from the ranch toward the waterfall you used before, remaining outside the cave. Go upstream to the stream’s endpoint, follow the mountain wall on your right, and enter the first opening on the left. A spawned egg shows its glow from far away, so landing for a foot search is unnecessary.

Desert Pyramid and the maze below it

On the map’s left side, you will find the Desert biome. Begin with the Pyramid’s small opening. When it is empty, jump into the small pool next to the Pyramid; it carries you into the interior zone on the opposite side.

Search the stone passages’ corners, alcoves, and dead ends instead of following only the central route. The egg is usually tucked against an edge, while the narrow corridors make a slow mount costly on the return trip.

Depending on the player, this pond-accessed area is called either the Maze or the Desert Temple. Whichever name you use, entry is possible only through the pond.

Solaris Egg 20-second break timer and the pet to ride

Taking the egg triggers an “Egg Will Break” bar along the screen’s top edge, with 20 seconds on the clock after pickup. Plan around that limit rather than the search time. Unless the spawn point and a nest are within one crossing of each other, the egg breaks and the attempt yields nothing.

Before leaving the ranch, equip the quickest flying pet you have; do not wait for the banner. Players usually choose a Phoenix because reaching the Giant Tree’s top and the Grey Mountain ledge requires vertical travel. A ground mount must scale branches and pass obstacle sections to arrive there, costing time on both approaches.

Avoid carrying a pile of pickups. Each egg in your basket still requires a nest, and taking a third while two await room can cause one to break.

Eternal Radar and checking with the Eggo NPC

The Solaris Egg’s Ethereal classification lets the Eternal Radar from Gears Shop identify it directly. That device also follows the other two Ethereal eggs, making it the best gear choice for this hunt. It costs more than any other radar in the game, is seldom stocked, and can be purchased with Robux when available.

The radar is a shortcut, not a requirement. A memorised route beats equipment you do not own, and all four areas can be checked by hand. Either way, talk to the Eggo NPC before committing to a long flight and confirm the egg is still on the map. Servers hold six players, so someone else may have already claimed it while you were crossing the desert.

Eggs restock every eight minutes, and the server-wide “Eggs have been restocked!” message usually lands just before an Ethereal spawn announcement. Being out on the map during those windows, rather than parked at your ranch, is worth more than any single search trick.

How to confirm the Solaris Egg counted

Pick the egg up and check above your character. The egg floats over your head with its name and clover value on display for the whole server. That confirms the grab, but the egg is still cargo and can still break.
Fly straight back to your ranch without detours. Move to an open nest and press E to place the egg. It only counts once it is in the nest and hatching.
Check the Index and review your egg collection progress. When the Solaris Egg entry changes, the run has definitely registered. Since hatch luck takes effect at the nest, clear an entire nest row before a restock window instead of trying to do so during one.

Any of the four areas may be empty, and the spawn chance is extremely low, so finding nothing is expected and does not mean you searched incorrectly. Use a quick flyer and visit the locations in a consistent sequence; the route should be memorized before the next banner appears.
