Steal An Egg Glitches: Wi-Fi Reset Skip and Empty-Server Tricks (Roblox)

Working methods to keep your spot after the night reset, grab secret eggs first, and play in a near-empty server.

Working methods to keep your spot after the night reset, grab secret eggs first, and play in a near-empty server.

In Steal An Egg, every player gets yanked back to the start of the course when the night ends and the map runs its egg reset. That single mechanic is what most of the current tricks work around. A few well-timed moves let you keep your position, reach secret eggs before anyone else, and even play in a server with no competition.

Quick answer: When the round timer hits about 5 seconds, turn off your Wi-Fi, wait for the ALL EGG RESET! message to pass, then turn Wi-Fi back on. You stay at the end of the track instead of being teleported to the start.

How the night reset teleport works

The map cycles through its biomes, including Jungle, Snow, Volcano, Abyss Ocean, and Prehistoric. When night ends, the game refreshes every egg on the course and returns players to the starting line. Because of that, anyone deep inside a long track loses all the ground they covered the moment the reset fires.

The reset is the exact event the Wi-Fi trick interrupts. If your client is briefly disconnected while the reset runs, you skip the teleport step and hold your place near the end of the track when you reconnect.

Wi-Fi reset skip glitch on PC and mobile

This is the core trick. The goal is to be offline during the reset and back online right after it, so you keep the position you earned along the Cosmic track.

Run as far down the track as you can and watch the round timer in the corner. Position yourself at the end of the section you want to hold.

At around 5 seconds left, turn off Wi-Fi. On PC, open the network icon in the taskbar and disable the connection. On mobile, pull down the quick settings menu and tap Wi-Fi off.
Stay disconnected while the ALL EGG RESET! message appears and clears. Do not reconnect early, or the game will process the teleport as normal.
Turn Wi-Fi back on. When the client reconnects, you should still be at the end of the Cosmic track instead of back at the start. That held position is how you confirm the trick worked.

Note: If you reconnect too slowly, Roblox may kick you from the server for lost connection. Keep the offline window short, just long enough to cover the reset message.

Best position to grab secret eggs on reset

Placement matters as much as timing. The strongest spot sits between the ocean and prehistoric biomes. From there, secret eggs land within reach the instant the map refreshes, so you can grab one before other players finish their run back.

Pair this positioning with the Wi-Fi skip and you hold the ideal grab spot through the reset instead of restarting the whole climb.

Play in a near-empty server without private servers

Steal An Egg has no official private servers, and public lobbies are crowded with high-speed players who steal eggs faster than you can react. Two methods get you a quiet server where nobody competes for the rare eggs.

Method 1: Sort servers by fewest players

Open the game’s page on Roblox and go to the Servers list.
Sort the list by Fewest Players and join a low-population server. With the server size capped at 7, landing in one with only one or two players leaves most eggs open for you.

Method 2: Fill a server with BlueStacks alt accounts

Open the BlueStacks Multi-Instance Manager and launch several Roblox instances at once.
Log into your alternate accounts and join the same server as your main. Filling the remaining slots with your own idle accounts blocks other players from joining.
Play on your main with the rest of the lobby occupied by your alts. This effectively creates a private server where no one else can steal your eggs, letting you collect items like a Secret Cerberus Egg with no risk.

What the Fuse Machine actually does

The Fuse Machine looks like a way to guarantee bigger pets, but that is not how it behaves. Feeding it three high-weight pets only raises your luck for the next result. It does not promise a higher-weight pet in return, so treat it as a chance boost rather than a sure upgrade.

Bat knockback: prehistoric vs wooden and volcano

Bats from the pet index are not equal when it comes to shoving opponents. The prehistoric bat pushes other players noticeably farther than the standard wooden and volcano bats. If your plan is to knock rivals away from eggs, the prehistoric bat gives you the longest knockback distance of the three.

Used together, these tricks change how you approach a run. The Wi-Fi skip keeps your position through the reset, the ocean-to-prehistoric spot puts you first on secret eggs, and a quiet server removes the competition entirely, while the Fuse Machine and prehistoric bat set expectations for what actually helps once you have the eggs in hand.
