RUNAWAYS Roblox: Best Tips, Tricks, and Fast Credit Methods

Crowbar routes, vault loot, and border tactics that turn a single run into a bigger credit payout.

Crowbar routes, vault loot, and border tactics that turn a single run into a bigger credit payout.

RUNAWAYS drops you into an open-world crime escape where the goal is simple to say and hard to pull off. You rob what you can, sell it for cash, keep your car fueled, and race across state lines to Mexico before the police box you in. The fastest way to build up credits is to run efficient loot circuits, grab the right gear early, and avoid fights that raise your wanted level.

Quick answer: Buy the Crowbar (3.5K) and Backpack Large (6K), rob ATMs and safes on your way south, break the military base vault for a guaranteed Minigun, hit the bank vault through the outside wall, then reach the border. Cash carried during a run converts directly into credits when the run ends.

Gear to buy before every run

Two purchases carry most of your early success. The Crowbar is the single most useful loadout item because it breaks safes, bins, and vault doors. The Backpack Large raises how much loot you can carry in one trip, which cuts down on wasted return runs.

Redeemable codes appear in the shop for extra credits, and the code box uses text like RUN. No official active code is confirmed right now, so treat any code list you see elsewhere with caution.

How credits are earned

The cash you collect during a run is not separate from your long-term progress. When a run ends, whether you escape or get caught, that cash converts into credits. The more you carry, the bigger the payout, which is why loot discipline matters more than kill count.

Movement is part of the equation too. Sliding while sprinting increases your speed, so use it to cover ground between loot spots and to slip away from police pressure.

Classes and vehicles worth picking

Classes change how you play a run. Smuggler and Juggernaut are common picks, and Ex-Military rounds out the stronger options. Costs are split between Robux and in-game CREDZ.

Vehicles decide how well you survive the drive south. The Reventador leads on speed and handling but carries no armor, while the Floppy Truck is the armored option built to soak fire during a chase. You can upgrade cars at Randy’s Autogarage.

Fast loot routes for gas stations and houses

Early cash comes from quick, low-risk robberies. A gas station gives you an ATM, a cash register, and food, all of which you can break or grab with a crowbar. Filling your gas tank at the same stop keeps your car running for the long drive.

Approach the gas station with your crowbar equipped. Break the ATM for $300 to $500, then hit the cash register.
Grab the food inside for later health regeneration. Eating restores health during a run.
Fill the gas tank before you leave, then drive away once the mission confirms the tank is full.

Houses are the other reliable circuit. Break mailboxes, trash bins, and drawers, and keep the high-value items while dropping junk that eats bag space. Mailboxes break in one hit for $25 to $50, so clear them fast and move on.

Tip: Do not attack civilians while looting houses. Raising your wanted stars triggers heavier police backup, which turns an easy run into a chase you did not need.

Bank vault trick: hit it through the wall

The bank vault holds cash and valuable art frames, but the NPCs inside make a straight rush costly. You can damage the vault from outside the building’s wall, which lets you break it without stepping into the room full of guards. Attach large loot like paintings to your car hood using the attach control to haul more at once.

Military base vault: guaranteed Minigun

The military base vault is worth the detour because it hands you a guaranteed Minigun. Break into the vault with your crowbar, take the weapon, and stock up on ammunition while you are there. The Minigun is one of the strongest tools for clearing the tougher enemies later in the run.

Be aware this is a high-heat area. Getting caught inside charges you with trespassing, and a destroyed vehicle plus an “ALL UNITS RESPONDING” alert can end the run fast if you linger.

Escaping police and repairing your car

Police chases are constant once your heat rises, so learn to shed them cleanly. Shooting out police car tires stops them from chasing you, which is often faster than trying to outrun a fresh pursuit. You can also mount a turret found in the city onto your car for extra firepower during a chase.

Keep your car alive with roadside repair kits and drills. Repair tools restore vehicle health, and fuel canisters top up your gas between stations. Refueling spots get sparse the further south you drive, so top off whenever you pass a station on the way to Texas and Mexico.

The Mexico border: snipers and the final push

The border is the hardest part of any run. Snipers guarding the crossing have high health, so a weak weapon will not clear them. Bring a Sniper rifle or the Minigun to take them down, and pop the tires of any police cars still on your tail. The “MEXICO BARRIER CLOSING IN” prompt is your signal to commit and push through.

You know the run succeeded when the “YOU ESCAPED!” screen appears and shows your final credit reward. That reward reflects the cash you were holding, which is why filling your bags on the way south pays off at the very end. Crossing the border also earns the International Fugitive badge, and holding $50,000 at any point during the run unlocks the High Roller badge.

Play the full loop enough times and the rhythm becomes second nature. Rob smart, keep your wanted level low, fuel up early, grab the Minigun, and treat the border as a planned assault rather than a desperate dash. That is what turns a single messy escape into a steady stream of credits.
