San Diego Border Roleplay: Fastest Money Methods (Printers, Boats, Farm)

The exact routes for money printers, boat smuggling runs, and the AFK cabbage farm, plus the payouts and cooldowns you can expect.

The exact routes for money printers, boat smuggling runs, and the AFK cabbage farm, plus the payouts and cooldowns you can expect.

Earning cash quickly in San Diego Border Roleplay comes down to three reliable methods that stack together. You run money printers inside a rented apartment for steady passive income, complete boat smuggling runs for large lump payouts, and set up a cabbage farm at a high-end property to earn while you are away. Each one has its own setup cost, route, and payout, and the fastest overall approach combines all three.

Quick answer: Buy money printers from the Dealer at the end of the border tunnel, cross the border legally with a passport, place the printers in a rented apartment on the third floor as a Civilian, then run Dinghy smuggling runs from the docks (about $17,000 each, ~4-minute cooldown) between collections.

Money printer setup and route

Money printers generate cash on their own once placed inside a property. The whole method depends on buying them from a hidden tunnel near the border, then crossing back into the US legally so police cannot arrest you and seize the machines.

Spawn a vehicle at the car spawn station and drive down the highway toward the border tunnel entrance. A basic starter car like the Tayora Cambria is enough to reach it.

Stop at the small house near the tunnel entrance and pay $500 through the Access Tunnel ($500) prompt. Walk to the far end of the tunnel to reach the Dealer NPC.

Buy your printers from the Dealer. A basic printer costs $20,000, while the Super Money Printer runs 79 Robux and produces cash faster. Buy as many as you can afford, since income scales with the number placed.
Leave the tunnel and drive to the San Ysidro Port of Entry. Cross legally using your passport so you avoid a warrant for illegal entry. This step is what keeps police from raiding your apartment later.

Drive through North San Diego to the Apartments building. Head up to the third floor (or a middle floor) and buy an unoccupied unit through the Purchase Apartment ($1,000) prompt. A higher floor makes it harder for patrolling police to find your printers.
Close the apartment door and confirm your role is set to Civilian. Criminals can be attacked and have printers stolen, so a clean legal status matters here. Place the printers in a tight circle in a corner so you can stand in the center and collect from all of them at once.

Note: Basic printers carry a 90% detection rating, while the Super Money Printer is only 10%. Detection affects how likely police are to catch the operation, so higher-value setups draw more attention.

Boat smuggling runs for large payouts

Boat smuggling delivers big single payments and pairs well with printer collection. You start a run at the Smuggling Docks, pilot cargo across the water to a shipyard dock, and collect a base payment plus a delivery bonus.

Spawn a car, leave the apartment, and drive to the Smuggling Docks.

Talk to the smuggling NPC and start a Dinghy Run, the entry-level option. Its payout shows around $14,000 in the menu before bonuses.
Pilot the dinghy across the water toward the shipyard delivery dock. Avoid obstacles, since hitting them can knock cargo off the boat.

Deliver the cargo at the shipyard dock to collect the payout. A completed run shows the base payment plus a delivery bonus, for example $13,597 with a $3,399 bonus, along with XP for finishing the mission.
Reset your character to teleport back to the main spawn, then drive to the docks again to repeat. Runs carry roughly a 4-minute cooldown, so time your printer collections in between.

Completing more runs unlocks faster, higher-paying boats. The values below reflect the menu payments for each tier.

AFK cabbage farm for passive income

The cabbage farm is the endgame passive method. It requires a large property investment up front but generates substantial income per delivery, and it runs while you are away from the keyboard.

Buy a Beach House for $1 million, then wait 24 hours for construction to finish. You do not need to stay logged in during that time. Unlock the underground farm for an extra $250,000.
Head to the underground farm and use the laptop to buy cabbage seeds. Plant them and wait roughly one hour for the crops to grow.
Return to the laptop and select “sell cabbages.” A truck will spawn for you to drive.
Deliver the shipment to Legal Storage Solutions to complete the sale. A single delivery pays a base of around $192,000, plus a server bonus that scales with how many players are online.
Players onlineBaseBonusTotal
30$192,000$57,000$249,000
50$192,000$95,000$287,000
100$192,000$190,000$382,000

Note: Each delivery raises your heat level. Once heat reaches 50% or higher, police can raid the farm and confiscate your products. Heat drops slowly over time, so spacing out deliveries lowers the raid risk.

Keeping printers safe from police

The biggest way to lose progress is having your printers confiscated. Police can only force entry into an apartment when they hold a valid warrant, and that warrant depends on your immigration status. If you crossed the border legally with your passport, there is no illegal-entry warrant to justify a raid.

  • Always cross legally at the port of entry after buying printers.
  • Keep your role set to Civilian, not criminal, so you cannot be attacked and looted.
  • Place printers on the third or a middle floor to reduce the chance patrolling officers notice the sound.
  • Close and keep the apartment door shut.

You will know a printer setup is working when cash accumulates on the machines for you to collect, and a smuggling run has succeeded when the delivery notification shows the base payment plus the delivery bonus at the shipyard dock.

Stacking these methods is what pushes hourly income the highest. Set the printers running in a legally rented apartment, cycle Dinghy runs during the cooldown windows, and once you can afford it, add the Beach House cabbage farm so income keeps flowing even when you step away. San Diego Border Roleplay is available to play on Roblox, and all three methods work on the free Civilian team without spending Robux.
