Sanctum Magus is one of the sealed areas that sits beyond Songkeeper’s Grove in SCROOMS. Until you reach it, its slot in the Index shows only a “???” tab, and the scrooms that live there stay hidden as blank silhouettes. Once the area opens up, five scrooms fill that tab, running from a common catch all the way up to a special Eversung entry.

Quick answer: Sanctum Magus holds five scrooms — Scholaroom (Common), Inkling and Sigilith (Uncommon), Occulot (Rare), and The Violet Fool (Eversung).

Sanctum Magus scrooms and rarity

Each scroom below belongs to Sanctum Magus. The rarity column uses the same labels the Index prints on every card.

ScroomRarity
ScholaroomCommon
InklingUncommon
SigilithUncommon
OcculotRare
The Violet FoolEversung

Other areas may surface more entries as you play, so treat this as the set tied to Sanctum Magus rather than a full map of every scroom in the game.

Sanctum Magus is one of the areas beyond Songkeeper’s Grove and appears as a “???” tab in the Index until you discover it.

How the rarity ranks work

Rarity in SCROOMS runs from most common to least common in a fixed order. Reading the Sanctum Magus list against that scale tells you how hard each catch is relative to the others.

  • Common
  • Uncommon
  • Rare
  • Wondrous
  • Fabled

Catch objectives for Sanctum Magus

The area has objectives for catching every scroom, Harmonic versions, Resonant versions, and one scroom that is both. The Index tracks four separate goals tied to Sanctum Magus:

  • Catch every scroom in Sanctum Magus.
  • Catch a Harmonic version of every scroom in Sanctum Magus.
  • Catch a Resonant version of every scroom in Sanctum Magus.
  • Catch a scroom from Sanctum Magus that is both Harmonic and Resonant.

The base objective only needs one of each scroom. The Harmonic, Resonant, and combined targets ask for special variants on top of that, so you return to the same catches with the right conditions rather than finding new species.

Quests that ask for these scrooms

Several Sanctum Magus characters want specific scrooms handed over, which gives you a reason to catch them beyond Index completion. The quests set in the area are A Question of Worth, Fullest Voice, Its Own Frequency, Prove It, Second Wind, Soup, and The Magus’ Requiem.

Scholaroom

Brakko plans to give every creature in the sanctum a new name, starting with the one known as a Scholaroom. To make the change official, he requires a live specimen, so catch one and hand it over. Scholaroom turn-ins are also connected to Neave.

Sigilith

Targon asks for a live Sigilith to use as a comparison reading after something went quiet in one corner of the sanctum. A Sigilith is also one of the three catches Iblis wants in their Runic set, alongside Neave’s interest in it.

Inkling and Occulot

Iblis expects the complete trio: one Runic Sigilith, one Runic Inkling, and one Runic Occulot. Meruem has a separate Occulot request because he bet you couldn’t catch one and wants proof. Save the Runic versions for Iblis so you have all three when he asks.

How to confirm your progress

Open the Index and switch to the Sanctum Magus tab. Once the area is discovered, the tab takes its name and the five entries appear, each filling in with its card as you catch it.

The completion percentage at the top of the tab climbs with each new catch and variant, the same way Songkeeper’s Grove tracks its own total. When every scroom and every required variant is logged, the four Sanctum Magus objectives tick over as complete, and that is your sign the set is finished.
