Acornub is one of the first creatures you can track down in SCROOMS, the Roblox game where you catch mushroom-like creatures by playing an instrument. It sits early in your Index and is caught with the same rhythm routine every scroom uses, so it is a clean one to learn the system on.
Quick answer: Acornub is an Uncommon scroom found in Songkeeper’s Grove. Its frequency runs from 37.5 Hz to 62.5 Hz. Play your instrument near it, tune to the white dot, and hold it in the catch zone until the bar fills.
Acornub rarity and Index entry
Acornub is an Uncommon scroom, and its Index page is headed “Uncommon Scroom.” You will find it in Songkeeper’s Grove, the starting area, listed as entry number 5 of 15 on that page. Its flavour line reads: it will grow into a big tree someday.
The printed frequency range on the entry is 37.5 Hz – 62.5 Hz. Every Acornub you catch arrives with its own frequency somewhere inside that band, shown on its backpack card and in the catch message. A catch can come in at 53 Hz.

The same page also tracks Stats and Tones. Stats carries your Highest Frequency, meaning the best one you have caught so far, plus the date caught. Tones lists three lines, Melodic, Harmonic, and Resonant, each showing a catch date or “Uncaught.”

Songkeeper’s Grove is where the game starts. Look for Acornub on the grass near the spawn sign, within the group of red wooden houses. You can’t control which scroom responds to your song.
Acornub shares the Uncommon tier in Songkeeper’s Grove with three other creatures. If you are filling out the page, these are the ones at the same rarity:
- Mistdrop
- Sunbrella
- Bloomcap
How to catch Acornub
A card you have not caught shows a black silhouette labelled “???” in the Index. Catching a single Acornub fills that card in.
How you know the catch worked
When the bar fills, a message prints on screen reading “You caught: Acornub!” followed by its frequency in Hz. The creature also lands in your backpack as a numbered slot. After that, the Acornub card in the Index flips from the “???” silhouette to the full entry with its flavour line, stats, and tone lines.

Tones: Melodic, Harmonic, and Resonant
Tones are versions of the same scroom, marked by a prefix on the name. You might catch a “Melodic Acornub” or a “Harmonic Acornub,” and a single scroom can carry two at once, such as a “Melodic Harmonic Acornub.” On the Index card, a gold star means Melodic has been caught and a cyan star means Harmonic.
Each tone tracks its own catch date on the Acornub page, so a standard catch does not tick off the tone lines. You chase those separately until all three show a date instead of “Uncaught.”
