Dewleaf is one of the Rare catches tucked into the opening area of SCROOMS on Roblox, and its Index entry calls it “The happiest scroom in the forest!” You will find it in Songkeeper’s Grove, the same place you start the game, and it answers any instrument you play on the grass around the spawn village.

Quick answer: Catch Dewleaf in Songkeeper’s Grove with an instrument in hotbar slot 1. Play the song, keep the tuning pin on the white dot, then hold the scroom inside the catch zone until the bar fills.

Dewleaf rarity and where it sits in the Index

Dewleaf is a Rare scroom. Its Index card is headed “Rare Scroom,” and it sits at position 9 of 15 on the Songkeeper’s Grove page. Songkeeper’s Grove is the starting area, so you can reach Dewleaf without unlocking anything first.

The only other Rare scroom on the same page is Burlcap. The rest of Songkeeper’s Grove is a mix of Common and Uncommon scrooms, so Dewleaf and Burlcap are the harder fills on that page.

Dewleaf frequency range and Index stats

On the Index, Dewleaf’s frequency span is 41.2 Hz – 68.7 Hz. Each one you catch is assigned a frequency within those limits; check its backpack card or the catch message to see the value. Dewleaf has no single set pitch—the listed interval is its full range.

Scroll the entry down and you get two more blocks. “Stats:” tracks your “Highest Frequency” (the best one you have pulled so far) and your “Date caught.” “Tones:” lists three versions of the scroom, each showing a caught date or “Uncaught.”

A Tone adds a prefix to a scroom’s name, such as “Melodic Dewleaf” or “Harmonic Dewleaf.” Both can appear on one scroom, producing “Melodic Harmonic Dewleaf.” The Index uses a gold star for a caught Melodic Tone and a cyan star for a caught Harmonic Tone.

How to catch Dewleaf in Songkeeper’s Grove

The catch process works the same way for every scroom, and you can’t choose which one responds. The game picks the scroom that answers your song; play, tune, then keep it in the catch zone until you secure it. Look for Dewleaf on the grass by the spawn sign, among the red wooden houses.

Put an instrument in hotbar slot 1 and hold it. The Tamer’s Guitar works fine for this one. Stand on the grass by the spawn sign in Songkeeper’s Grove.
Click to play the instrument and start a catch. A ring appears on screen.
Click again on the ring to begin tuning.
Keep the pin sitting on the white dot while you tune. This locks the frequency onto the scroom.
Keep the scroom within the moving catch zone until the bar beneath the track fills completely. Once it reaches the top, the catch is complete.

How to confirm the catch worked

A banner reads “You caught: Dewleaf! Frequency: 60 Hz,” filling in that catch’s own frequency. The catch message shows the caught scroom and its frequency.

Back in the Index, the change is easy to spot. An uncaught scroom shows a black silhouette labelled “???,” so once you land one Dewleaf, that card fills in with the full entry. That filled card, plus the logged “Date caught” and your “Highest Frequency,” is how you know Dewleaf is locked into your Index.
