The Reaper race is a Secret-rarity race in Sailor Piece that evolves from the Mythical Wraith race. To unlock it, you must equip Wraith, travel to Slayer Island in Sea 2, and complete a four-part questline from the Soul Harvester NPC. Reaper grants +120% Max HP, +105% Damage, +35% Sword Damage Multiplier, +12% Damage Reduction, +3% Lifesteal, and +25% Execute Damage, making it the current top-tier Secret race for Sword builds.
Quick answer: Roll the Wraith race using Race Rerolls, equip it, fly to Slayer Island in Sea 2, talk to the Soul Harvester, and finish all four Soul Trials (1,500 kills, three boss souls, 10 Krakens, 10 Easy Minotaur Raids without dying). Return to the Soul Harvester to evolve Wraith into Reaper.

Reaper race requirements in Sailor Piece
Before you can start the evolution, your account needs to meet a few hard conditions. Without Wraith equipped, none of the Soul Trial progress is tracked, so make sure to roll and keep it before stepping onto Slayer Island.
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Prerequisite race | Wraith (Mythical) - keep it equipped for every trial |
| Quest location | Soul Harvester NPC on Slayer Island, Sea 2 |
| Minimum level for Slayer Island | 12,750+ |
| Recommended HP | 100 million+ for the Minotaur raid trial |
| Recommended build | Luck build for boss soul drops, damage build for Krakens and raids |
Wraith itself is rolled through Race Rerolls, which drop from mobs and bosses. In the Race Reroll skip settings, deselect every option except Wraith so that all other races are skipped, and only Wraith is kept when rolled. Mythic races have around a 0.5% chance per spin, so expect a long grind.
Start the Soul Trial questline on Slayer Island
Slayer Island sits in Sea 2 and unlocks at level 12,750. Once you can travel there, head to the Soul Harvester (a large NPC near the main spawn area on the island) and accept the Soul Trial questline. The NPC tracks four sequential trials, and progress only counts while Wraith is your active race.

Soul Trial 1: Defeat 1,500 enemies with Wraith equipped
Step 1: Equip the Wraith race and the Quake fruit, then teleport to Starter Island. Quake hits wide groups, which makes this trial trivial to AFK.
Step 2: Position yourself at a dense mob spawn and toggle the auto-skill setting for the C-skill. Any enemy kill counts, regardless of island, so Starter Island or any Sea 2 farming spot works.
Step 3: Stay equipped with Wraith until the counter reaches 1,500. Kills with any other race will not register.

Soul Trial 2: Collect the three rare boss souls
The second trial asks for three drops with low base rates. Switch to your Luck build (Kitsune race users often swap to Wraith only when the drop registers, but progress requires Wraith equipped on the killing blow). Run a luck relic or any 2x Luck boost before each fight.
| Soul | Boss | Location | Summon item |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warrior Soul | Spirit Warrior | Blue Planet Island | Spirit Keys (drop from regular mobs on the island) |
| Time Soul | The World (World Boss) | Bizarre Island | Dominion Brand (drops from regular mobs on the island) |
| Ancient Soul | Cosmic Being or Yoriichi (World Bosses) | Sea 2 World Boss spawns | None - natural spawn |
Farm the basic mobs first to stack Spirit Keys and Dominion Brands, enable auto-spawn on the boss option, and re-summon repeatedly until each soul drops. World Boss spawn rates were increased in a recent update, so the Ancient Soul from Cosmic Being or Yoriichi is more attainable than it used to be. Drop chances remain RNG-based, so be prepared for several attempts per soul.

Soul Trial 3: Defeat 10 Krakens
Step 1: Keep Wraith equipped and sail roughly 200-600 studs away from any Sea 2 island into the Open Sea. Krakens only spawn in that band of open water.
Step 2: Make sure you have an active bounty on your head. Without bounty, Krakens will not spawn at all, and you will only see Sea Serpents instead.
Step 3: Confirm each spawn is a Kraken, not a Sea Serpent, before engaging. Sea Serpents share the spawn mechanic but do not count toward the 10 required kills. Stack Krakens until the trial counter hits 10.

Soul Trial 4: Win 10 Easy Minotaur Raids without dying
Step 1: Farm Raid Keys from standard Sea 2 enemies. You will need at least 10, with extras as a buffer in case of failed attempts.
Step 2: Enter the raid lobby, select the Minotaur raid on Easy difficulty, and use one Raid Key per run. Keep Wraith equipped at all times. Bringing a party is allowed and recommended.
Step 3: In each fight, deal 50% of the Minotaur's HP first, then pull the five levers placed around the arena to drop his shield. Finish the remaining 50% to clear the run. Survive every attempt, since dying voids the run for trial progress.
With at least 100 million HP and a competitive sword or melee spec, Easy difficulty rarely poses survival problems. Repeat until you have 10 clean wins on record.

Claim Reaper from the Soul Harvester
Once all four trials show completed, return to Slayer Island with Wraith still equipped and speak to the Soul Harvester again. The NPC consumes Wraith and adds Reaper to your race inventory. The confirmation that it worked is a popup awarding the Reaper race and the new race entry appearing in your inventory with the stats listed earlier.
If the dialogue does not advance, the usual reasons are: Wraith is not currently equipped, one of the four trial counters has not actually hit its target (open the Soul Harvester's hint menu to verify), or a soul drop was earned while a different race was equipped and therefore did not register. Re-equip Wraith, finish any outstanding step, and the evolution will trigger on the next interaction.
Reaper is currently the strongest Sword-build Secret race in Sailor Piece, edging out Archangel for pure damage output, while Archangel remains the better farming pick thanks to its luck and double-drop bonuses. Once Reaper is locked in, you can switch back to your luck build for daily farming and re-equip Reaper for boss fights, raids, and PvP.
