Sell Ores Progression Guide: Codes, Upgrade Order, and Shops

Every working code, the drilling loop that pays your bills, and the upgrades worth buying first in Roblox Sell Ores.

Every working code, the drilling loop that pays your bills, and the upgrades worth buying first in Roblox Sell Ores.

Sell Ores is a Roblox base builder about one thing: rolling a rock, dropping it into a tunnel, and letting a drone chew through it while you count the cash. The trap for new players is spending early money on the wrong upgrade and then waiting several minutes for a single crate. Time skips, ore regen, and drill speed are what actually move the needle.

Quick answer: Open the settings cog, redeem the time-skip codes (ROBLOXSERVERS, SORRYFORDATA, ALMIGHTY, BALANCE) plus RELEASE, EXPANSION, and PETFUSION, then put the resulting cash into Ore Regen Speed and Drill Speed before touching Drill Yield.

Codes here are worth more than the raw cash suggests, because the time skips fast-forward your base and dump the accumulated mining payout straight into your balance. Every code is case sensitive, so type them exactly as written.

SORRYFORDATA24-hour Time Skip
ALMIGHTY6-hour Time Skip

There are no expired codes at the moment. New ones tend to appear in the codes channel of the official Sell Ores Discord server, usually attached to an update or a server outage apology.

How to redeem codes

Launch the game on Roblox and wait for your base to finish loading. The tunnels and drones need to exist before a time skip has anything to fast-forward.
Click the settings cog in the top-right corner of the screen. The code entry box sits near the bottom of that menu.
Paste one code, press Redeem, and watch for the reward. Cash and gems land immediately, and a time skip switches on the moment it is accepted, so your balance jumps without you closing the menu.

If nothing happens, it is almost always capitalization or a stray space. Codes that have already been claimed on your account will not fire a second time.

The core loop: roll, drill, sell

Everything in Sell Ores runs on a five-step cycle, and the whole game is just that cycle repeated faster and with better rocks.

Walk to the Roll Ores pedestal and roll. You will pull Stone Ore constantly at the start, with Copper, Seastone, and Coal showing up once your luck improves.

Buy an open tunnel slot if you do not already have one free. Slots are the hard cap on your income, since an ore sitting in your hands earns nothing.
Place the rolled ore inside the tunnel. A drone starts working on it automatically.
Wait for the drone to grind the ore down into a crate. This wait is exactly what Drill Speed shortens.
Grab the crate and hand it to the Sell Ores NPC. Your cash balance updates on the spot, which is your confirmation the loop closed properly.

Upgrade order for the early game

The upgrade board offers five lines, and they are not equally useful when you are broke. Ore Regen Speed and Drill Speed both attack dead time, which is the real bottleneck before your ore quality improves.

UpgradeWhat it doesPriority
Ore Regen SpeedShortens the wait between rollsBuy first
Drill SpeedDrones turn ores into crates fasterBuy second
Upgrade Ore LuckBetter odds on higher-tier oresOnce income is steady
Rolling PedestalsMore pedestals to roll fromOnce income is steady
Drill YieldMore value per crateSkip early on

Ore Luck becomes the priority once the cheap regen and speed levels stop feeling meaningful. Rolling Amber Ore or Dragon Ore instead of Stone changes the value of every crate that follows, so luck compounds in a way that yield alone does not.

Tunnel slots deserve their own line in the budget. Every extra slot means another drone working in parallel, and unlocking them is the cleanest way to turn a time-skip windfall into permanent income.

Free cash and ores from the Rewards menu

The Rewards menu hands out cash and rare ores based on how long you have been actively playing. Claim each one as it unlocks, because a free Amber Ore or Dragon Ore is worth far more than the cash tiers around it.

Gear Shop: growth gems and coatings

Gems and coatings multiply what an ore is worth, and both can be bought with cash instead of Robux if you are patient. Gems from codes are best saved for a good roll rather than dumped on Stone Ore.

Pet Shop lucky blocks

Pets pulled from lucky blocks help you get more ores, which feeds directly back into the rolling loop. The cash prices climb steeply, so these are a mid-game purchase rather than something to chase on day one.

Ore tiers you will roll

Stone Ore is the floor, and Copper, Seastone, and Coal start appearing early. Obsidian and Iron sit in the middle of the ladder, while Amber and Dragon Ore are the high-value pulls that make an Ore Luck investment pay for itself.

Tip: hold a fresh high-tier ore until you have a gem or coating ready to apply. Sending a Dragon Ore through an unupgraded tunnel wastes the single best roll you are likely to get that session.

Played in that order — codes first, then regen and speed, then slots, then luck — the early grind shrinks from a long wait into a few minutes of setup. After that, the base largely runs itself while you decide which rock to feed it next.
