Sephiria: How to Get All 27 Achievements

Every unlock condition for the Team Horay roguelite, from story milestones and boss kills to the Hard Mode grind.

Every unlock condition for the Team Horay roguelite, from story milestones and boss kills to the Hard Mode grind.

Sephiria has 27 Steam achievements, and none of them rely on luck or hidden random drops. Each one fires the moment you clear a specific milestone, beat a named boss, or reach a story beat, so a full completion run is a matter of playing through the campaign and then grinding the Hard Mode tower. The game shipped with 13 achievements during Early Access and grew across several content updates before the 1.0 launch on July 31, 2026.

Quick answer: Finish the main story to earn every progression, boss, and ending achievement, then clear Hard Mode Stage 1, Stage 15, and Stage 30 to unlock the three Root’s Retreat achievements and complete the set.

Story chapter achievements

Five chapter achievements track your progress through the main narrative. They unlock automatically at scripted moments, so you cannot miss them as long as you keep advancing the story.

Soul Plan sits alongside these as a story-driven unlock. It pops when you meet the tree with Perr, and it is one of the rarer campaign achievements because many players stop before reaching that scene.

Boss defeat achievements

Most of the roster comes from beating the bosses you encounter while climbing deeper. Each kill grants its own achievement the moment the boss falls, and you do not need to do anything extra during the fight.

Endgame and final boss chain

The last stretch of the campaign delivers a cluster of achievements tied to Qliphoth. These are the rarest in the game, since only a small share of players reach the true ending.

Temple of Evil fires when you enter the Temple of Qliphoth with the animals, setting up the finale. Defeating Qliphoth earns Hero’s Guise, sealing Qliphoth earns Seal, and completing the game grants Journey’s End. Reaching this point means clearing the full sequence of story beats, animal rescues, and Guardian Demon fights that come before it.

Exploration and home achievements

A handful of achievements reward you for poking around outside of combat. DIY is the easiest in the entire game and unlocks when you repair your own house, so most players earn it almost immediately. Traveler requires you to find a hidden room during a run, and Where the Blue Being Lives triggers when you step into the Pocket Dimension.

Hard Mode achievements (Root’s Retreat)

The three Root’s Retreat achievements are the only ones that demand real skill and repetition. Hard Mode unlocks after you finish your first full tower climb on any difficulty, at which point you can pick it from the Chapter Select screen before a run.

AchievementRequirement
Root’s RetreatClear Hard Mode Stage 1
Root’s Retreat 15Clear Hard Mode Stage 15
Root’s Retreat 30Clear Hard Mode Stage 30

Hard Mode raises enemy health by 150% and enemy damage by 100%, adds new boss attack patterns, doubles elite spawns, and cuts relic and healing drops. A Corruption meter also fills as you take damage, reducing your max health at 50% and dealing damage over time at 100%. Because of this, survivability matters far more than raw damage. A defensive setup built around a long-reach weapon, health and damage-reduction relics, and corruption-reduction items is the most reliable path to Stage 30.

Tip: Co-op scales enemy health per player, but the ability to revive a downed partner makes the deep Hard Mode stages far more forgiving if you are struggling to reach Stage 30 solo.

Because every achievement is condition-based, you will see each one confirmed on screen the instant you meet its requirement. A full clear then comes down to two things: playing through the story to the true ending for the campaign and boss achievements, and building a durable loadout to push Hard Mode all the way to Stage 30.
