Find the northeast Shimanoyama Region drift circuit, the Green Wristband it needs, and its Eclectic Domestics rules.

Find the northeast Shimanoyama Region drift circuit, the Green Wristband it needs, and its Eclectic Domestics rules.

Shimanoyama Circuit is a purpose-built drift track in Forza Horizon 6, sitting on the northeastern side of the Shimanoyama Region on Japan’s west coast. It runs as a Road Racing event with free-flowing turns over five short laps, and it doubles as a discoverable landmark on the map.

Quick answer: Head to the northeast corner of the Shimanoyama Region, near the region’s top-right border. Open the map, hover over the nearest white or orange road, and fast travel to it, then drive the short distance to the circuit start.

Shimanoyama Circuit location on the map

The Shimanoyama Region covers the full western coast of Japan. The circuit itself is tucked into the top-right edge of that region, in the northeast. If you are scanning the map, look toward the region’s upper border rather than its center or southern stretches.

There is no built-in fast travel point sitting directly on the circuit, so the fastest approach is to warp to a nearby road and finish the trip behind the wheel.

How to reach Shimanoyama Circuit fast

Open the map and pan to the northeastern corner of the Shimanoyama Region near its top-right border.
Move the cursor over any white or orange road close to the circuit. These are the roads you can warp onto.
Fast travel by pressing X on Xbox controllers or Square on PlayStation controllers, then drive the remaining stretch to the event start banner.

Unlock requirement and event rules

Shimanoyama Circuit opens once you reach Green Wristband access through Wristband progression. The race restricts entries to Eclectic Domestics, so you need a car that fits that group to start it.

The layout is designed for drifting, with looping, momentum-friendly corners rather than tight technical sections. That makes it a popular convoy and drift lobby destination as well as a points event.

Discovering the Shimanoyama Drift Circuit landmark

The same spot registers as the Shimanoyama Drift Circuit landmark, also located on the northeastern side of the Shimanoyama Region. To collect it, simply drive inside the circuit. The discovery triggers Discover Japan Points and adds the location to your Collection Journal.

Tip: If the landmark does not register on a quick pass, slow down and roll through the track interior so the trigger zone counts.

How to confirm you reached and unlocked it

You have arrived when the event start banner appears in the northeast of the region and prompts you to begin the race. If the prompt is greyed out, you have not yet reached Green Wristband access, or your current car does not qualify under the Eclectic Domestics restriction. Switch to an eligible car and confirm your Wristband tier, then the event becomes selectable.

After your first finish, the Race Customizer unlocks for the circuit, letting you replay it in any car from your garage with custom difficulty. That confirmation, along with the landmark entry appearing in your Collection Journal, tells you both the event and the discovery are complete.
