Exact combo damage figures for every top-tier element move, from the 52,000 entry point up to Earth 6th’s 136,521.

Element abilities in Shindo Life sit on a much wider damage curve than most players expect. Two moves that both look like screen-filling area attacks can be separated by more than 80,000 damage on the same target. The numbers below come from combo damage counters recorded against high-level enemies, and they make the gap between the top of the list and the rest of the roster very clear.

Quick answer: Earth 6th is the highest damage element ability at 136,521, followed by Acid 5th at 109,224 — both measured against a Tailed Spirit boss, and both well ahead of the third-place ability, Pyromania 5th, at 82,892.

Full damage ranking for every element ability

Several ranks contain more than one ability because their damage totals land within a few hundred points of each other. Where that happens, the moves are effectively interchangeable on raw output.

Earth 6th and Acid 5th are in a category of their own

Earth 6th lands 136,521 damage, which is roughly 65 percent higher than the third-place ability. Acid 5th sits in second at 109,224. Both were tested against a Tailed Spirit boss rather than a stationary training dummy, so their totals reflect a large hitbox and an enemy that stays in the attack for its full duration.

That testing difference matters. A large multi-hit move parked on top of a boss-sized target will register far more of its ticks than the same move clipping a player-sized opponent. Treat these two figures as a ceiling for boss farming rather than a promise of what you will land in an Arena match.

The 68,000 to 83,000 band: Pyromania, Acid, Chaos, and Combustion

Below the two outliers, the ranking tightens quickly. Pyromania 5th and Acid 2nd share third place at 82,892 and 80,784, and Pyromania 6th and Pyromania 2nd follow at 78,088 and 76,356. Pyromania placing three separate moves this high is the clearest sign that it is a consistent damage element rather than one with a single strong ability.

Combustion 2nd at 74,706 and Chaos 1st at 72,809 come next, with Combustion 6th at 69,208 and Chaos 4th at 68,266 just behind them. Around 6,000 damage separates the top and bottom of this whole group, which is small enough that cast speed, range, and how reliably the move connects will matter more than the raw number.

The middle of the list: Yin/Yang 6th, Gale 6th, and Fire 5th

Yin/Yang 6th holds seventh place on its own at 65,020. It is the only ability at that rank, sitting in a gap between the Chaos and Combustion group above it and the pair below.

Eighth place goes to Gale 6th at 63,700 and Fire 5th at 62,408. Fire 5th is worth noting because Fire is one of the earliest elements a new player can pick up, and it still clears 62,000 — enough to stay useful long after the early game.

The 52,000 to 58,500 entry point

Ranks nine and ten hold the widest spread of elements. Wind 2nd and Wind 6th both hit 58,527, with Gale 3rd at 58,511, Yin/Yang 2nd at 58,500, Water 6th at 57,221, and Yin/Yang 1st at 57,200. The spacing between these is small enough to be within normal variance across attempts.

Rank ten runs from Combustion 3rd at 54,904 down to Earth 2nd and Lightning 3rd, which tie at 52,008. Water 3rd lands 54,607, Yin/Yang 3rd 54,600, and Earth 5th 53,341. Anything below roughly 52,000 did not make the list at all, so this is the practical floor for a high-damage element move.

Why the damage ranking does not match element tier lists

Raw damage and overall element strength are not the same thing. Earth tops this list through Earth 6th, yet Earth generally sits near the bottom of element tier rankings because it falls off badly in PvP and is easy to play around. Acid, by contrast, is consistently placed in the top tier — it combines high damage with area coverage, block breaking, and lingering status effects, which is why it works in both PvE and PvP.

Pyromania and Chaos land high on both lists, which makes them the safest picks if you want a single element that performs well in a boss fight and an Arena match. Combustion trades sustained damage for burst, and Wind and Water place respectably on damage while being much easier for an opponent to counter.

Note: you can only equip four elements at a time, so a loadout built purely from the top of this table will leave you without mobility or space control. Mixing one or two of the highest-damage options with faster, shorter-range abilities usually holds up better across different content.

How to reproduce these numbers

Equip the element you want to test through the Edit menu and make sure the specific ability slot (2nd, 5th, 6th, and so on) is the one you plan to fire. The slot number is what determines the damage, not the element alone.
Find a stationary target. A training log gives a clean baseline, while a Tailed Spirit boss produces the higher figures seen for Earth 6th and Acid 5th because of its size and hitbox.
Use the ability once and read the combo damage counter that appears on screen. If the counter shows a number well below the figures listed above, the most common causes are a partial hit that missed later ticks of the move, or a target that moved out of the attack before it finished.

Damage values shift with balance changes, and Shindo Life updates regularly, so any figure here is a snapshot of how these abilities currently perform. If you want to check the current state of the game yourself, the experience is on Roblox. Re-testing on a training log after a patch takes about a minute per ability and is the fastest way to confirm whether your loadout still hits as hard as it did.
