Silent Hill Townfall: How to Get the 5 South Brae House Key

The South Brae House Key is locked inside a lost and found cabinet in the CEG Employee Lockers building in Clara Woods, and the combination that opens it is printed on a note stored on the facility’s computer terminal. Without the key, door 5 on South Brae stays shut, and the chain of items behind it stays out of reach.

Where the South Brae House Key is stored

Everything for this step happens inside one building. Open your map and switch to the Ground Level view, where the CEG Employee Lockers facility is marked in red. Walk in through the sliding entrance doors, pass the reception counter, and head into the back office.

The cabinet you want is the blue locker labelled LOST AND FOUND. Interacting with it brings up a combination screen with three tumblers, so you need a three-digit number before it will open.

Find the code 772 on the CEG Lockers terminal

Leave the office and walk around the front reception counter. The green-screen CRT monitor there is running LetterPlus+, and it is the only place the cabinet code appears.

Interact with the terminal to bring up the contents of External Disk Storage B. Open the Lost and Found file, which states that the week’s code is 772.

Open the lost and found cabinet with 772

Back out of the computer screen and return to the office at the rear of the locker hall. Approach the blue lost and found cabinet and interact with the lock.

Turn the three tumblers to 7, 7 and 2. The cabinet door swings open as soon as the combination lands.

Take the South Brae House Key from inside. It is easy to recognise by the yellow and silver tags hanging from it, and it drops straight into your inventory.

Route from the CEG Lockers to 5 South Brae

Before leaving the office, open the map and flip to the Upper Level. The 5 South Brae address is marked there, which makes the walk far easier to follow in the fog.

Walk back out through the locker hall and exit the facility into the foggy courtyard.

Move past the playground slide, enter the neighbouring building, and follow the dim corridors through to the back door and wooden gate. That puts you in the alley with the parked cars and the ambulance.

Run through the covered breezeway to reach the main street, then head back toward Atlas Square and take the south stairs up to the Upper Level walkway.

Follow the walkway along South Brae. You will pass apartment 7 first, and door number 5 is a little further along.

If you lose track of your position, open the Upper Level map while standing on the walkway — it marks your current spot against the numbered doors.

Unlock door 5 and confirm the key worked

Interact with door number 5 and choose the South Brae House Key from your inventory. The lock turns and the door opens, which is the only confirmation you need — if the prompt does not offer the key, you are standing at the wrong door, so check the numbers on the walkway again.

Inside, head upstairs to the bedroom and search the bedside drawer for the Disk Case Key. That item is what the trip to 5 South Brae is really for, since it feeds into the floppy disk work needed to reach Locker 17 and the Mechanical Parts for the Atlas Gate.
