Reaching the Control Room in Silent Hill Townfall hands you the Remote Systems Control document and one vague instruction: relive the events captured on CCTV. The room gives you nothing else to work with, so the trick is knowing which camera to check, which device ID to read from it, and which symbols to punch into the console. Once you understand that loop, the whole thing becomes a checklist.
Quick answer: Flick through the CCTV cameras to read each device ID, then enter the matching Command and Equipment symbols with that ID on the console — Valve B (254), Filter A (103), Aux Line B (246), Regulator (178), and the Valve F door (592).

How the Remote Systems Control console works
The Remote Systems Control document tells you how the console is laid out, and every command follows the same three-part format.
- The first two columns of buttons set the Command.
- The next two columns set the Equipment.
- The number field is the ID of the device you want to affect.
You never guess the ID. Each one is written on the equipment itself, which you view through the security cameras, or on the note pinned next to the console. Ignore the “Aux Line B” code printed on the document until you actually reach that step. Enter the Command, the Equipment, and the ID, then press Enter to confirm.

Here is every Command and Equipment coordinate alongside the ID you need for each task. Enter them in the order listed further down.
| Task | Command | Equipment | ID |
|---|---|---|---|
| Open Valve B | Column 1, Row 1![]() | Column 3, Row 2![]() | 254![]() |
| Start Filter A | Column 1, Row 2![]() | Column 4, Row 3![]() | 103![]() |
| Flush Aux Line B | Column 2, Row 2![]() | Column 4, Row 4![]() | 246![]() |
| Stop the Regulator | Column 1, Row 4![]() | Column 3, Row 4![]() | 178![]() |
| Unlock Valve F door | Column 2, Row 4![]() | Column 3, Row 1![]() | 592![]() |
Complete the console tasks in order
The tasks depend on one another, so follow this sequence. Each step means switching to the CCTV monitor to grab an ID, then returning to the console to enter the command from the table above.

Open Valve B (camera 005)
On the CCTV monitor, cycle to Cam ID: 005, the Valves A–C room. Aim the camera to the right to read Valve B’s ID, which is 254. Back at the console, enter Command Column 1, Row 1 and Equipment Column 3, Row 2 with ID 254, then press Enter.

Start Filter A (camera 000)
Switch to Cam ID: 000 to view the Filter Unit. Check the desk visible in the feed for Filter A’s ID, which is 103. Input Command Column 1, Row 2 and Equipment Column 4, Row 3 with ID 103, then hit Enter to bring the filter online and receive your next objective.

Get the AUX Key and solve the Auxiliary Lines
Manual access is required for the auxiliary lines. At the locker beside the console on its right, input 0825 and take the AUX Key. Ride the elevator to Level 1, then use the key to open the AUX Room. Retrieve the AUX Disk from the cabinet, insert it into the computer, and open the Auxiliary Lines document.

Three groups of red switches must be flipped. Each group is marked with white paint — one stripe for Line 1, two for Line 2, three for Line 3. A vertical mark means Up, a horizontal mark means Down. Set them like this:
| Line | Start / direction | Switch order |
|---|---|---|
| Line 1 (one stripe, 9 switches) | Right side, work right to left | Up, Down, Up, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Up |
| Line 2 (two stripes, 9 switches) | Right side, work right to left | Up, Down, Down, Down, Up, Down, Down, Up, Up |
| Line 3 (three stripes, 8 switches) | Left side, work left to right | Down, Up, Up, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up |
When all three status lights turn green, the auxiliary lines are open. Return to the Control Room.
Lock the Control Room door once you are back inside so roaming enemies cannot reach you while you work the console.
Flush Aux Line B
The Remote Systems Control document’s code is used here. Check the note beside the console: it identifies Aux Line B as 246. Set Command Column 2, Row 2 and Equipment Column 4, Row 4 to ID 246, then press Enter.

Stop the Regulator (camera 002)
Return to the CCTV feed and select Cam ID: 002 for the Regulator Systems. Enter Command Column 1, Row 4 and Equipment Column 3, Row 4 with ID 178, then confirm to shut the regulator down.
The regulator console shows the number 781 in white paint on the camera feed, but the input that stops it uses ID 178.
Unlock the door to Valve F (camera 004)
Choose Cam ID: 004 on the monitor to view Valves D–F, then check the Valve F door for ID 592. Return to the console and set Command Column 2, Row 4 and Equipment Column 3, Row 1 to 592; press Enter to unlock the room.
Turn the Valve F wheel
Once the door is unlocked, exit the Control Room and use the downstairs route on the ground floor’s left side. Locate Valve F below and turn the red wheel to remove the warning from the controls.
You will know the sequence is done once the warning at Valve F disappears. Head back up to the Control Room and lock the doors again. A new document, the Clamp Release Procedure, prints out at the printer, which kicks off the next puzzle in the chain.
