Silver Palace has pulled back the curtain on its next round of testing with a fresh gameplay showcase tied to the Dichotomy Beta Test. The reel, nicknamed “The Raven and the Rose,” runs through the kind of detective work, minigames, and open-world movement players will get their hands on. It also acts as a preview of features meant to stick around for the full launch of the dieselpunk detective RPG.
Quick answer: The trailer reveals a new interrogation system, medical operation and secret-photo detective tools, chess and Blackjack minigames against other characters, air-and-ground mounts plus a vintage car, character ultimate animations, and small social interactions inside the city of Silvernia.

Interrogation mechanic with a stat chart
The clearest new system is interrogation. A playable character stands opposite a faceless NPC while a panel on the right side of the screen displays that NPC’s traits as a hexagon stat chart. Along the bottom of that panel sit five choices you can pick during the exchange.
The exact back-and-forth is hard to read because the trailer carries no on-screen text you can follow, but the framing points to a dialogue-driven questioning system where your options shape how the conversation unfolds. It builds on the earlier scanning system, where the Detective could observe a person from head to toe and collect details such as hidden weapons.

Detective tools: medical operations and secret photos
Around the 1:09 mark, the showcase shows a character performing a medical procedure on a body. You pick the instrument you want to use, then select the specific part of the anatomy you want to work on. It reads as a hands-on examination step, the kind of task that fits a detective piecing together a case.

A second detective tool has characters snapping photos of NPCs in secret. This could be tied to a specific quest, or it could be a repeating mechanic given that the protagonists are detectives by trade. Either way, it leans into the private-investigator fantasy the game keeps returning to.

Chess and Blackjack minigames
Two tabletop diversions show up. In a chess duel, you sit across from another character in a 1v1 match, shown from a first-person view as you move a piece and your opponent studies the board. A timer in the top-left corner appears to count down the time each side has to make a move.

The trailer also shows a card game, played as Blackjack or Poker, with three other characters at the table. Together these give Silvernia the feel of a lived-in city where you can sit down and play rather than only fight or investigate.

Getting around Silvernia: mounts, a car, and a sky Leviathan
Movement gets three new looks. A mount can fly through the air and trot on the ground, while a vintage car drives through the streets like a period-appropriate automobile. It is not yet clear whether more mounts or vehicles exist beyond these two.
The trailer also shows a huge Leviathan in the sky with a small car hanging off its underside, which hints at a Zeppelin-style transport rather than a simple set piece.

A city-first open world
Everything in the showcase takes place inside a dense urban setting, with the open world laid out as blocks of buildings. How much of the full map follows this same city layout is still an open question, since the urban look has carried across several trailers so far.

Ultimate animations and character interactions
The final stretch is a combat montage showing different characters casting their ultimate abilities, each with its own animation. Silver Palace already lets you swap between party members at speed, mixing melee weapons and guns, and this reel puts the spotlight on those flashy finishers.

There are quieter moments too. Around the 0:47 mark, the player holds hands with another playable character. The figure shown appears to be a child, so it is not confirmed whether the same interaction extends to adult characters.

Silver Palace platforms and beta status
Silver Palace is an anime-inspired action RPG built in Unreal Engine 5, developed by Silver Studio and published by Elementa. The Detective can be played as a male or female protagonist, and you can bring up to four party members into exploration and combat. The mystery centers on Silverium, the element that industrialized the city of Silvernia.
