Slap Battles: How to Get the Conch Glove

The Conch Glove costs 7,250 slaps and sits on a lobby stand between Ice and woah.

Conch is a slap-costing glove in Slap Battles, which means there is no badge to earn, no quest chain to grind, and no separate obtainment place to visit. You buy it from a stand in the lobby once your slap counter is high enough. It arrived in the same update that brought island swap back to the game.

Quick answer: Collect 7,250 slaps, then walk to the Conch stand in the lobby — it sits between the Ice stand (7,500 slaps) and the woah stand (1,000 slaps) — and buy the glove from the stand’s panel.

Conch Glove cost and stats

Conch is a passive glove. The stand lists an ability called Motivating Appeal and marks it as a passive, so there is no active button input tied to it the way there is with an E-ability glove.

Note: slaps are the game’s running currency, so the 7,250 figure is a lifetime total you build up through normal arena play. Nothing else gates the purchase.

Where the Conch stand is in the lobby

Spawn into the main Slap Battles lobby and walk down the hall of glove stands rather than heading straight into an arena. Every slap-costing glove lives on one of these pedestals, ordered roughly by price.

Use the neighbouring stands as landmarks. Conch is positioned between woah, which costs 1,000 slaps, and Ice, which costs 7,500 slaps. If you have reached the Ice pedestal, you have gone one stand too far.

Stand in front of the Conch pedestal and read the stat card. It should show the 7,250 price along with the 55 power and 14 speed values, which is how you confirm you are at the right stand before spending anything.

Interact with the stand’s panel to buy the glove. The 7,250 slaps are taken from your total at that moment, and the glove becomes selectable from the pedestal and your glove list.

How to confirm the Conch Glove unlocked

Two things change immediately after a successful purchase. Your slap total drops by 7,250, and Conch equips from the stand instead of prompting you to buy it again. From there it stays in your glove selection permanently, so you can swap back to it from any stand or the glove menu.

The only thing that blocks the purchase is a slap total below 7,250. There is no badge requirement, no quest prerequisite, and no separate teleport place involved — if the stand will not sell you the glove, keep slapping in the arena until the counter clears the price.

Other changes in the Conch update

Conch did not ship alone. The same changelog covers a batch of glove balance passes, a couple of bug fixes, and the return of a gamemode, which matters if you are grinding slaps with any of the affected gloves.

Glove or systemChange
ConchAdded to the game
GroundbreakerE ability slowed by 20%; E ability can now be cancelled on ragdoll; 4-second spawn cooldown added
Slasher4-second spawn cooldown added to the E and R abilities
Snowball and SpoonfulPenalty applied if the E ability is cancelled
KrakenFixed the glove counting slaps twice
SiphonFixed being reflected when infected by a glove
Emote ShopNew cassette Neon Collage added; cassette list now scrolls
Elude StageFixed a bug that prevented buying emotes
Island swapRe-added

The Kraken fix is the one worth flagging if you were banking slaps toward Conch. That glove had been counting slaps twice, so any total you built with it before the patch will grow more slowly now that each slap registers once.
