Slayers 2: How to Get Potions from Rika in Windy Peak

Slayers 2 has eight potions, and none of them share a single source. Two basic bottles come from a vendor in your starting village, three elixirs come from a second vendor across the map, one drops from early quests, and one is a reward for a full demon questline. Each one either restores or regenerates health or stamina, extends your underwater breathing, or transforms your character entirely.

The base Health Regen and Stamina Regen potions fall off quickly. Once you can afford the elixirs, stock those instead, since they hold the same effects at higher strength.

Buy Health Regen and Stamina Regen potions from Rika

In your starting village of Windy Peak, Rika’s stall carries the two standard regeneration potions. You can get to her without Wall Climb, Double Jump, or a travel unlock, making her reachable within minutes of creating your character. The red bottle is Health Regen at 600 Wen, while the blue Stamina Regen bottle costs 900 Wen.

Open your map and confirm you are in Windy Peak. Use Raze’s Sword Shop as your navigation point, and drop a marker on it if an earlier quest carried you out of the village.

Head toward Raze’s Sword Shop and inspect the nearby stalls. Look for the potion seller’s stand, marked by barrels piled outside and red lanterns hanging above.

Interact with Rika, who sits on the barrels. Her opening line about formulas backed by science rather than superstition confirms you have the right NPC. On PC, the purchase prompt on each bottle is triggered with the T key.

Pick the bottle you want and pay. Rika never wanders, so you can return to the same barrels for every restock. Other villagers nearby, such as Noot, do not sell potions, so there is no cheaper alternative in the village.

You may also find either potion in Ouwigahara Dungeon Chests or Tier 1 Sealed Cache Chests. The reported drop rates are 25% for Health Regen and 20% for Stamina Regen. Their locations vary across the map, and Raiders commonly guard them, making a purchase from Rika much more reliable than farming for drops.

Get Health Potion from Kona’s quest

Health Potion restores 15% of your total HP and has no permanent shop. The most reliable early source is Kona’s Recover the Lost Pages quest in Windy Peak. Accept it, collect all five lost pages around the village, and return them to Kona. The reward includes a Health Potion along with the Book of Guidance, EXP, and Yen.

Beyond that quest, Health Potions also come from defeated enemies, other NPC rewards, and boss chests, so you will usually keep a large stack of them in your inventory at low levels. These broader drops have no single fixed rate.

Buy elixirs and the Underwater Breathing Potion from Alchemist Meku

On the Mistfall Harbor docks, just south of Windy Peak, Alchemist Meku operates a wooden shop. He sells the three elixirs as well as the Underwater Breathing Potion. Pay for every item with both Wen and Demon Horns, so bring enough of each. Because some displays list only the Wen price, verify the Demon Horn requirement in the purchase panel before you confirm.

The Underwater Breathing Potion is the odd one out. Drink it before an underwater route and it gives you extra time below the surface, but it does not make underwater breathing unlimited.

The two regen elixirs also drop from chests if you would rather farm than pay. Health Regen Elixir appears in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Sealed Cache Chests at a reported 25% each and in Snow Chests at 12%. Stamina Regen Elixir uses the same chests at 20% each and 10% from Snow Chests.

Rika’s Health Regen Potion and Meku’s Health Elixir are different items with similar names. When a quest asks for one, select the exact item, because the other will not substitute for it.

Earn Muzan’s Blood from the demon questline

Muzan’s Blood is not sold anywhere. It is the reward for a demon-route questline, and drinking it transforms your character into a demon. The route starts with a reputation requirement and ends with a delivery chase.

Bring your reputation down to -40 or below. One supported approach is to defeat unstarred NPCs called Civilian; each kill lowers reputation by 1. Leave quest NPCs alone, and avoid Civilian variants marked with a star to prevent attacking the wrong target.

Before reaching the elevated route section, get Wall Climb and Double Jump from the Skill Tree. Use the reputation and skill requirements to decide when to proceed, not a set character level.

At night, search for Muzan in Mistfall Harbor, the Hidden Mist Village, or the Iceveil snow village. Accept his offer and use the Biwa Bell. When you arrive in his domain, speak with him to start the objectives.

Gather nine Spider Lilies. Begin near Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, then check the central bridge or flower patch, waterfall, river island, and Wano Gate in a loop. When none are there, search the flower cliff on Hidden Mist’s outskirts and Thunder King Zentaro’s pillar. Their spawn locations aren’t guaranteed; wait for them to reappear or switch servers, and keep an eye on the quest counter until it shows 9/9.

Use the marker to find Dr. Higoshima at the tall pillar east of Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, then capture him. Slayers will keep respawning and pursuing you, but don’t stop for them—head directly to the delivery marker.

Finishing both objectives grants you Muzan’s Blood. To transform, open your inventory and consume it; simply obtaining the item won’t change you.

Earn enough Wen to keep buying potions

At low levels, most of your income comes from repeatable quests and loot rather than mob kills. Wen also pays for Raze’s katanas and Tony’s Claws, so build a buffer instead of spending down to zero.

Repeat Krue’s three-Bandit quest through Levels 1–6.
At Level 13, accept Tom’s bear-hunting task; once you reach Level 18, take on his Mother Bear quest.
Clear the Windy Peak side quests instead of skipping ahead.
Open every chest you find, including the Mother Bear quest chest.
Unlock Ginzo at Mistfall Harbor by returning the Jewelry Box from his home in the Village Hidden in the Mist, then sell him loot and coin items.

Two early fights may leave you short on supplies: Zuko at Level 7 and Tom’s Mother Bear quest at Level 18. Running out of healing in either battle sends you back to a Bamboo Grove and ends that attempt. Set your spawn at the grove closest to where you grind, and buy supplies from Rika before a lengthy trip to reduce the walk back.

Confirm a purchase went through

Check your inventory as soon as you finish paying. When the purchase succeeds, your Wen balance decreases and the potion—with its description—shows up in your item list, where you can read it before drinking. If neither the item appears nor your Wen total changes, the purchase failed to register. Check your balance against the shelf price, then activate the prompt once more.
