Slayers 2: How to Get Potions from Rika in Windy Peak

Rika runs the potion stall in the Windy Peak starting village, a short walk from Raze's Sword Shop.

Potions in Slayers 2 are shop goods, not quest rewards or rare chest drops. You buy them from a stationary vendor in the first village you spawn into, which means you can stock up within minutes of creating a character and before you take on Krue’s bandit quest.

Quick answer: Buy potions from Rika, the NPC sitting on the barrels in Windy Peak, the starting village. She is a short walk from Raze’s Sword Shop, and she trades for Wen.

Where to find the potion shop in Windy Peak

Windy Peak is the starting area, the same village where the early quest-givers stand and where Obari, the Serpent Breathing trainer, waits on the cliff to the north. Everything below happens inside that village, so you do not need Wall Climb, Double Jump, or any travel unlock to reach it.

Open your map and confirm you are still in Windy Peak. The map labels the village and marks Raze’s Sword Shop, which is the landmark you want to orient around. Place a marker on it if you have wandered off during the bandit quest.
Walk toward Raze’s Sword Shop and look for the stall with stacked barrels outside it. Rika is the NPC sitting on those barrels, and she does not patrol, so she will be in the same spot every time you return.

Approach Rika and interact with her to open the shop menu, then buy what you can afford. The purchase is confirmed when your Wen total drops and the potion appears in your inventory, where you can read its description before using it.

Set your spawn point to the Bamboo Grove closest to wherever you are grinding. That keeps the trip back to Rika short when you burn through your supply during a boss attempt.

Windy Peak landmarks near the potion stall

The starting village packs several of the NPCs you will use for the first 15 levels into a small area. If you can find any one of them, the potion stall is close by.

How to earn the Wen potions cost

Wen is the currency behind almost every early purchase, including Raze’s starter katanas and Tony’s Claws in Kiribating Village. At low level, your income comes almost entirely from repeatable quests and loot.

  • Repeat Krue’s three-Bandit quest through Levels 1 to 6.
  • Take Tom’s bear-hunting quest at Level 13 and his Mother Bear quest at Level 18.
  • Clear the side quests in the starting village rather than skipping ahead.
  • Open chests as you explore, and check the Mother Bear chest reward.
  • Later, Ginzo can be unlocked at Mistfall Harbor: retrieve the Jewelry Box from his home in the Village Hidden in the Mist and return it. He buys loot, including coin items.

Servers with more players award more EXP from mobs and quests, so a busier server shortens the grind between shop trips.

Checking your potions in the inventory

Open your inventory after buying. Every item you own is listed there with its description, and equipment entries also show the stat buffs they grant. If a potion is not in that list, the purchase did not go through and your Wen will be unchanged.

Since Rika stays put in Windy Peak, the practical habit is to restock before any long trip out of the starting area, particularly before the Zuko fight at Level 7 or Tom’s Mother Bear quest at Level 18. Both are the first fights where running out of healing sends you back to a Bamboo Grove and costs you the run.
