The Final Boss update
The headline item right now is the Final Boss update, which the developer frames as a major send-off. It opens Friday, October 23 at 8:00 PM ET and runs through Sunday, October 25 at 8:00 PM ET (October 24–26 UTC). With over 30,000 players signed up, it is pulling far more interest than anything else ahead of it — roughly ten times the sign-ups of the updates that follow. Update 7
A week later, Update 7 is set for Friday, October 30 at 8:00 PM ET through Sunday, November 1 at 8:00 PM ET (October 31 to November 2 UTC). Its contents have not been announced yet, and sign-ups sit at around 2,900 so far. The timing keeps a steady weekly rhythm: the last several drops have each opened on a Friday evening about seven days apart.
Christmas update
Further out, the Christmas update is already on the calendar for Friday, December 18 at 8:00 PM ET, with a long holiday window that stays open through December 31 (December 19 UTC to January 1 UTC). At nearly two weeks, it is the longest event of the group, compared with the two-day windows of the fall updates. About 2,700 players have signed up this far in advance.
Recent Halloween events
The schedule’s recent momentum came from a pair of back-to-back Halloween drops. The Halloween update opened Friday, October 9 at 8:00 PM ET and wrapped the following afternoon, while the follow-up, Halloween Part 2, ran from Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18 ET. Both rank among the game’s biggest events so far — the first drew about 50,000 sign-ups and Part 2 topped 52,000, more interest than even the upcoming Final Boss update has gathered to date.
