Briny Scrolls are the collectible lore items of Splatoon Raiders, each one unlocking a piece of story about the Spirhalite Islands. They come from three separate places, so tracking them all means clearing certain dungeons, raising your bond with Deep Cut, and smashing hidden crates during raids.
Quick answer: Collect Briny Scrolls by clearing key dungeons for their fixed scrolls, breaking the orange crates hidden in treasure-hunt raid levels, and raising each Deep Cut member’s bond level to three. Hitting 56 total scrolls gives the final reward of three Spirhalite Gems.
The three ways Briny Scrolls unlock
Not every scroll is hidden in the world. The first several arrive automatically as you play, a set come from bonding with your Bot Buddies, and the rest are physical pickups inside breakable crates during raids.

The scrolls you find in raids appear at random per save, so the same level may hand you a different scroll than someone else. After a run, check the stage preview image. A scroll icon at the top shows whether that dungeon still holds any, and a checkmark marks the ones you already have. If any are missing, re-enter and search again.
Fixed and dungeon-completion scrolls
These early scrolls need no searching. Two land on the Hideout Ship once you clear Pantree Beach, and others are handed over the first time you finish certain dungeons.

Briny Scroll crates in raid levels
Most raid levels follow a set path, so any extra air vent, bridge, surfboard, or side ledge usually hides something worth grabbing. The scroll crates are orange. Here is where each raid level’s crates sit and how to reach them.

Trickier crates worth a closer look
A few levels hide their crates behind jumps and side paths that are easy to walk past. These are the ones most likely to leave a scroll icon unchecked on your stage preview.
Tumetto Rocks
There is a small island you can reach with a squid jump or a Bot Hop. The crate sits on that island right next to the tree, off the main route.
Lintle Inlet
This stage has two crates. The first sits on top of a ledge you can spot through the floor viewpoint, reachable with a Bot Hop. The second is closer but hidden behind a large rock, so keep looking to your right as you enter. It may be tucked behind a pair of Cohocks.
Carbanyara Wetlands
The scroll here is on a small island you reach by riding a surfboard through squid rings. Once across, look to the left, behind a large rock.
Pipyoni Cliffs
This one is straightforward. Follow the main path and watch for an alcove on the right side, where the orange crate is waiting.
Fridda Trail
Take care with this crate. It sits on a ledge below the main path in the lava section. Keep looking down as you go, but be careful where you land because the lava will hurt you.
Taytur Rocks
Two scrolls live here. The first is easy to see, beneath a ledge to the east of the mega crystal. The second is on a separate island you reach by air vent, with a Smoker parked in front of the crate that you will need to clear first.
Scrolls from Deep Cut bonds
Shiver, Frye, and Big Man each reward you with scrolls as their bond level rises, up to three per member. Raise a bond by equipping that member as your Bot Buddy while you clear dungeons, then cycle through all three so none get left behind. You can review every scroll you own through the Hoard that Big Man sets up at the top of the Hideout Ship.
Briny Scroll research rewards
Collecting scrolls pays out crafting currency at set milestones. You can track your total and the next reward in the top right corner of the research window.

You will know a scroll registered when its icon gains a checkmark on the stage preview and its entry fills in inside the Hoard. If a level still shows an unchecked scroll icon after your run, a crate went unbroken somewhere on that map, so head back in and sweep the side paths, air vents, and hidden islands until the count clicks over.
