The Futbol update turns Steal a Brainrot into a live World Cup tie-in. It adds three limited Brainrots that pay out huge amounts of cash, a new country trait that multiplies earnings, and several Trade Plaza changes built around showing off your collection. Every reward is tied to real World Cup matches, so the spawns happen when goals and red cards do.
Quick answer: Watch the live match board in the center of the map. When a goal is scored, Hippo Golazo or Esok Goala spawns on the red carpet and a 30-second celebration lets new Brainrots roll the scoring country’s flag trait (x5 cash). When a red card is shown, Ref Ref Ref Sahur spawns. Buy them off the conveyor before they sell out.
When the Futbol event runs
The live match event runs from Saturday, June 27 at 7:00 PM through Monday, June 29 at 4:00 PM. The Futbol Brainrots and country traits are only obtainable for the remainder of the World Cup, so the window to farm them naturally is short. Once it closes, the only way to add these units is by stealing them from other players or trading for them.

The country trait is the standout reward of the update. It triggers whenever a national team scores a goal in the World Cup. The moment that happens, a live celebration starts in-game and lasts exactly 30 seconds. Any Brainrot that spawns during that window has a chance to carry the scoring country’s flag as a trait.
Country traits apply a x5 cash multiplier, so a trait Brainrot earns five times what its plain version makes. Because the 30-second window is so tight, your best move is to stand near the conveyor belt and react the instant a goal goes in.
The developers added a live match board to make timing easier. It sits in the middle of the map, overlooking the conveyor belt next to the Shop, and tracks every World Cup game scheduled that day along with real-time scores. Only countries actually playing in the World Cup can drop their trait. To keep things fair for teams that score rarely, the admins also spawn some celebration events at random, so collectors still have a shot at those flags.
How to get the three Futbol Brainrots

There are three limited Brainrots tied to live match events. Hippo Golazo and Esok Goala both spawn on the red carpet when a goal is scored in any World Cup match. Ref Ref Ref Sahur spawns instead when a red card is handed out to a player. The live match board tells you when these moments are coming.
| Brainrot | Income | Spawn trigger |
|---|---|---|
| Hippo Golazo | $1.2M/s | Goal scored |
| Ref Ref Ref Sahur | $2.7M/s | Red card given |
| Esok Goala | $32.5M/s | Goal scored |
When one appears on the conveyor, buy it with cash before it sells out. These units spawn on both standard and private servers, so if public servers are too crowded you can collect them with less interference on a private server.
Stealing them if you missed the event
If you would rather skip the risk, ask a friend who already owns one to trade it to you through the trade machine.
Trade Plaza changes in the Futbol update

The Trade Plaza picked up three additions, all aimed at showing off and reading your collection. You can now equip Brainrots to display them, communicate using signs, and look up how rare a given trait combination is.
To equip a Brainrot, enter the Trade Plaza and click the Brainrot button on the left side of your screen. That opens a menu of everything you own, and selecting one summons a tiny version that follows you around as you move.
Press the “1” key to open signs and talk to other players without typing. For rarity checks, interact with the glossary in the middle of the trading plaza, then pick the traits and mutations you want to see. It shows the existing counts for each trait combination, which is useful when valuing a trade.
The most valuable pickups during the event are Esok Goala and any Brainrot carrying a country trait, since both massively raise your cash per second. Keep the live match board in view, react fast during goal celebrations, and lock your base once you secure a unit so it does not get stolen back before the World Cup wraps.
