Steal a Chicken splits its map into a chain of zones, and each one is locked behind a speed threshold. The faster you can move, the farther across the map you travel, and the rarer the chickens you can reach and carry home. There are currently 11 zones holding a combined 61 chickens.
Quick answer: Zones unlock in order from Forest (45 speed) up to Candy (370 billion speed); build your speed on the Treadmill and with Trails to reach each new area.

All 11 zones and their speed requirements
Every zone has a minimum speed you must hit before you can travel to it. The three farthest areas, Cosmic, Crystal, and Candy, are in the game but their chicken rosters have not yet been confirmed.
| Zone | Minimum speed | Chickens |
|---|---|---|
| Forest | 45 | Classic, Brown, Cheese, Black, Rock, Candy |
| Lake | 5K | Bee, Candle, Pig, Grass, Grandpa, Zombie |
| Jungle | 70K | Easter, Wood, Reptile, Tiger, Snake |
| Desert | 240K | Quartz, Pharaoh, Ancient, King, Strange, Dino |
| Snow | 2 million | Penguin, Ice, Polar Bear, Keyboard, Cyber, Robo |
| Volcano | 30 million | Chocolate, Carbon, Hollow, Magma, Blaze, Dragon |
| Beach | 200 million | Fishy, Turtle, Shark, Orca, Cash, DJ |
| Abyss | 1 billion | Toxic, Obsidian, Demon King, Abyss, Leviathan |
| Cosmic | 7 billion | TBA |
| Crystal | 50 billion | TBA |
| Candy | 370 billion | TBA |
Chicken rarity climbs steadily as you push deeper. Forest holds Common through Rare fowl, while the mid-game zones introduce Legendary, Mythic, and Stellar birds. By the time you reach the Abyss, you are pulling in Divine chickens such as the Obsidian, Demon King, and Leviathan.

Add to Google Preferences →Each zone has a boss that guards it
Reaching a zone is only half the job. Every area has its own boss, and speed matters just as much on the way out. Once you grab a chicken, you have to sprint back to safety before the boss catches you.
If a boss catches you and ragdolls you, it can pick up the chicken and carry it back to its original spawn point, wiping out that attempt.
How to raise your speed to reach new zones
Speed is the single stat that gates your progress, so building it is the main path to the later zones. Two systems work together: the Treadmill and Trails.
The Treadmill near your base is the core of speed farming. Training on it adds speed over time, a Level 1 Treadmill giving roughly 20 speed per second, and upgrading it sharply increases those gains. It can currently be upgraded to Level 10 using Cash or Robux.
Trails stack a permanent speed multiplier on top of your base speed while also adding cosmetic effects. Only one Trail can be equipped at a time, and they are bought from the Trail Shop inside the safe zone.
| Trail | Speed multiplier | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Grey | 1.5x | 25,000 Cash |
| Blue | 2x | 100,000 Cash / 10 Robux |
| Purple | 3x | 500,000 Cash / 20 Robux |
| Red | 4x | 5,000,000 Cash / 30 Robux |
| Galaxy | 5x | 60,000,000 Cash / 40 Robux |
| Aquatic | 7x | 500,000,000 Cash / 75 Robux |
| Divine | 8x | 3,000,000,000 Cash / 140 Robux |
| Rainbow | 10x | 250,000,000,000 Cash / 280 Robux |
| Celestial | 12x | 1,000,000,000,000 Cash / 399 Robux |
The Celestial Trail gives the highest boost at 12x speed, which is why it is the most valuable purchase for reaching the endgame zones. Pairing a strong Trail with a fully upgraded Treadmill is what makes the billions of speed needed for Cosmic, Crystal, and Candy realistic.

A practical order for progressing through zones
Admin Abuse events grant server-wide speed and Cash boosts, so training on the Treadmill during them accelerates your speed gains considerably.

You will know a zone is within reach once your speed meets its listed minimum and you can travel to it without falling short on the map. From there, it comes down to grabbing the chicken and outrunning the boss back to the safe zone.
