Admin Abuse in Steal an Egg is not a bug or an exploit. It is a scheduled window where the developers use their own admin commands to drop high-rarity eggs straight into the map, announce them server-wide, and let players race for them. During one of these sessions, devs Brockodile and Ben seeded Divine, Eternal and Secret eggs across multiple zones, which is how ordinary players ended up walking away with a Golden Kitsune and a Golden Gorilla King in a single sitting.
Quick answer: When a server message reads “A [egg] spawned in [zone]!”, sprint to that zone, hold E on the glowing egg to steal it, carry it back to your base without getting caught, then either wait out the growth timer or spend 79 Robux on Instant Grow All to hatch everything at once.
How the admin egg spawn cycle works
The spawns are manual. A developer places an egg, and every player in the server sees a banner naming both the egg and the zone it landed in. Nothing is hidden, which means the egg goes to whoever is fastest, not whoever is luckiest.
Stealing works exactly as it does in normal play. Approach the highlighted egg, hold the E prompt to lift it, then run it back to your base while the zone guardian chases you. Tight, twisting circles are enough to make most pursuers lose their line on you.

Eggs come in waves rather than one continuous stream. After a batch is cleared, the server posts an “ALL EGG RESET!” notice and a fresh set drops, so the dead time between waves is best spent repositioning near the zone you expect to be hit next.

The spawn list skews heavily toward the top of the rarity ladder, and it includes mutated variants such as Golden, Silver and Monstrous. These are the announcements that landed during the session.
| Egg | Zone |
|---|---|
| Golden Divine Kitsune Egg | Cherry Blossom |
| Silver Eternal Oni Tiger Egg | Cherry Blossom |
| Eternal Gorilla King Egg | Titan Temple |
| Golden Eternal Gorilla King Egg | Titan Temple |
| Secret Mutant Shark Egg | Titan Temple |
| Eternal Eternal Lunar Dragon Egg | Cosmic |
| Monstrous Secret King Snake Egg | Jungle |

Note: because spawns are placed by hand, the zone list changes from session to session. Read the banner rather than camping a zone you saw in someone else’s run.
Speed is the real requirement
High-tier eggs are heavy, and weight slows you down. The Golden Gorilla King weighed in at 90,012Kg, which is not something a starter account can shift across the map before the guardian catches up. Speed decides whether you reach the egg first and whether you can actually carry it home.
The treadmill is the fastest fix. Standing on it builds your speed stat continuously, and it is worth running between waves instead of idling. Trails stack on top of that, so equipping the best one you can afford before the event starts pays off immediately.

Hatching the eggs and the 79 Robux shortcut
Eggs do not open the moment you drop them at your base. Each one enters a growth timer, and top-tier eggs can sit at 14 hours or more. You have two options once they are placed.

What the Kitsune and Gorilla King pay out
Mutations change the numbers. A Golden version of an egg produces a Golden pet with income well above the standard version, which is why these admin drops matter so much for a cash farm.
| Pet | Rarity | Income |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Kitsune | Divine | $4.4B/s |
| Golden Gorilla King | Eternal | $2B/s |
| Kitsune (standard) | Divine | $1.8B/s |
| Unicorn | Divine | $1B/s |
| Oni Tiger | Eternal | $600M/s |
| Mosasaurus | Eternal | $180M/s |
| Stag | Secret | $145M/s |
The Kitsune is the highest-earning pet in the game at Divine rarity, and the Golden variant more than doubles that base figure. For context, the entire Forest biome tops out at $1.8k/s with Brr Brr Patapim, so a single admin-spawned Divine egg is worth more than everything a new player farms in their first several hours.
How to confirm you got the pet
Once the egg finishes growing, the pet appears in your pen and its per-second income is printed above it. Equipping it raises your total income figure on screen straight away, so if that number does not move, the pet is not active.
The Pet Index is the second check. A newly hatched species fills its slot in the relevant zone category and pays out the index reward attached to it, which is a speed bonus plus a cash bonus. If the index slot is still empty, the pet never hatched.
Why players miss the rare eggs
Almost every failed run comes down to the same handful of causes rather than bad luck.
- Someone else reached the egg first. Servers are small, and the announcement goes out to everyone at the same moment.
- Your speed stat is too low to carry a heavy Eternal or Divine egg out of a late-game zone before you are caught.
- Your pen is full, so there is no room for the pet once it hatches. Sell or fuse low earners beforehand.
- You joined after the window opened. Admin sessions run short, roughly 30 to 60 minutes, so being in a server early matters more than anything you do during it.
When Admin Abuse runs
These sessions have been landing on Saturdays at 15:00 UTC, which is 11:00 AM ET and 8:00 AM PT, and they sit immediately before a content update goes live. The first ran on August 22nd, 2026, and the most recent was on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, followed by the “MONSTERS ARE COMING…” update. No official date for the following one has been confirmed.
Tip: turn on Notify Me on the Roblox event listing and enable announcement alerts in the game’s Discord. Admin events are typically posted with very little lead time, and the eggs are gone within minutes of the banner appearing.
The realistic takeaway is that preparation decides your haul. A maxed treadmill run, an empty pen, and a server you joined fifteen minutes early will do more for you than any trick during the event itself, because once a Golden Divine Kitsune Egg drops in Cherry Blossom, the only question is who reaches it first.
