Dr. Scramble is the villain left behind after Sammy from Steal a Brainrot dropped in for a tour of Steal An Egg and had his mind hijacked mid-event. Once Ben’s crew broke the spell, Dr. Scramble bailed and scattered experiment drones across the map, along with a stranded lab escapee who needs your help. Clearing those drones, banking the currency they drop, and repairing a broken vault is the whole loop, and there is a hard deadline on it.
Quick answer: Talk to Nibbles in the Abyss Ocean cave to start the quest, grab the two fixed vault parts in the Prehistoric and Volcano biomes, then farm drones for the remaining three drone parts and return to claim the Scrambler bat.
When the Dr. Scramble event runs
The event runs on a repeating cycle: a new drone wave appears on the map once every 30 minutes and remains for about five minutes. Because that window is brief, have your bat equipped before the timer reaches zero instead of opening menus after the drones begin appearing.
The whole event is time-limited and ends on Saturday, September 26, 2026. That gives you a week from launch to finish the vault and buy anything you want out of the shop. There is no confirmation that unspent Samples or unclaimed shop items carry over, so treat the deadline as final and clear your list before it flips.
A sequel event, Dr. Scramble’s Revenge, is scheduled for September 26 at 3:00 PM UTC through September 27 at 4:00 PM UTC. In it, Dr. Scramble goes after Ben after losing control of Sammy. Farming drones for Samples
Drones start appearing in the Abyss Ocean biome and in every biome after it. Each drone has 5 HP, and every bat swing removes 1, so plan on five hits per target. When a drone goes down it drops Samples, the event currency you spend in the Experiment Shop.
There are three drone types, and Sample payouts are not flat across them. The tougher, higher-health drones pay out noticeably more than the passive ones, and the aggressive drones with arms that fight back tend to be the better targets. Since drone parts for the vault also drop at random, the efficient play is simple: hit every drone you can reach, because that serves both the currency grind and the quest at once.

Experiment Shop prices
Samples are spent at Dr. Scramble’s Experiment Shop, found beneath the pet menu. The headline buys are the two limited eggs, both of which leave when the event ends. Save for the Experiment #001 Egg first, since it carries a purchase limit of one, then grab boosters last and only for time you will actually be online.

The Scrambled mutation is a single-use consumable you apply to an unhatched egg in your pen. Keep an eligible egg ready before you spend the 475 Samples, because a failed attempt still burns the item.
Starting the Nibbles vault quest
Nibbles—Experiment #013—escaped Dr. Scramble’s lab carrying a machine, but it malfunctioned during the getaway and lost five components. Return all of the missing parts to him so he can repair the machine and give you its contents. This quest has no map marker, so you must find Nibbles yourself.
All five vault part locations
The vault needs five parts total. Two are fixed pickups sitting out in the world, and the other three drop from drones during the event. Grab the two fixed parts first, because they do not depend on the 30-minute timer.

The Volcano part sits too high for a normal jump. Players report a launch from another player or a taller avatar helps, and climbing the terrain on the rear side is one way up. The three drone parts are pure random drops, so no single drone is guaranteed to give one, and it can take several waves before all three register.
The two fixed parts and the three drone parts are tracked separately. Repeating only one activity will never finish the other, so watch that your tracker climbs on both the Lost Parts and Drone Parts counters.
Claiming the Scrambler and finding the secret room
With all five parts collected, head back to the Secret Cave in Abyss Ocean and speak to Nibbles once more. Confirm that the Stolen Experiment Vault shows Lost Parts 2/2 and Drone Parts 3/3, then select Claim. A confirmation says the vault has opened, and the limited Scrambler bat is added to your inventory.
Before exiting the cave, aim the camera toward the ceiling and locate the wall vent near your conversation with Nibbles. Jump inside to reach a small concealed workshop modeled after Brockdoile. That discovery indicates Sammy was not the sole visitor from outside and that Dr. Scramble has begun preparing his next plan.
If your part counter refuses to move, confirm the server actually has the Dr. Scramble UI loaded, reopen Nibbles’ dialogue to check the quest is active, and if a clean pickup still changes nothing, hop to one fresh server and test the pickup once. With the vault done and your Samples spent on the eggs you want, you have finished everything the event has on offer before the September 26 switchover.
