Steal An Egg: How to Earn Candy Corn (Halloween Dimension)

In Steal An Egg’s Halloween Dimension update, Candy Corn is event currency with one use: purchasing the Halloween Dimension Egg. You can collect it only in the Corrupted Realm, reached through the Halloween portal at spawn beside the Trails Shop. The event listing covers October 17 through October 24, 2026. The developer calls it a two-part event, but part two has no confirmed date.

Quick answer: Hit Soul Phantoms and Pumpkin Golems with your bat for 65 Candy Corn each, or 130 during Blood Moon. Steal spooky eggs and fish to fill the gaps.

Candy Corn rewards for every Corrupted Realm monster

Combat is the fastest source of Candy Corn. Every monster roaming the Corrupted Realm pays out when you knock it down with your bat, and the payout is fixed by monster type. The values double during Blood Moon weather.

Soul Phantoms and Pumpkin Golems are worth more than five times a Hollow Bat, so it makes sense to skip the small fry when a big target is in reach. A Pumpkin Golem kill can also drop an egg alongside the currency. Yes, one monster shares its name with the currency. It pays 12, the same as a Hollow Bat.

Blood Moon doubles Candy Corn from monster kills

Blood Moon is a random weather event in the Corrupted Realm. While it’s active, every monster you defeat pays double Candy Corn, which turns a Soul Phantom into a 130-point kill. It doesn’t run on a fixed schedule, so there’s no point waiting around for it. Farm normally, and when the sky turns red, drop whatever else you’re doing and start swinging.

The doubling is confirmed for monster kills. Whether egg returns and other payouts also double is unsettled, so watch your Candy Corn counter during a Blood Moon before you change plans around it.

Stealing spooky eggs for Candy Corn

Spooky eggs appear throughout the Corrupted Realm’s zones; deliver one safely to earn Candy Corn. The payout depends on rarity, with rarer eggs granting more. Candy Corn is awarded only once delivery is complete. The safe zone lies across the map from the manor, so getting there can take a while.

Ghosts chase you the moment you pick an egg up, and a single hit sends the egg back. Bigger eggs are harder to carry, so smaller eggs are the safer pick unless you’ve built up plenty of Speed. Eggs you steal also count toward the Halloween Dimension pet collection, so a successful run earns you currency and a pet at the same time.

If a ghost gets close, set the egg down, then pick it up again. This breaks the pursuit, giving you time to make gradual progress toward safety.

Unlocking the fishing rod for Candy Corn

Fishing is the most relaxed method, but also the slowest, and you must first complete Echo’s questline. Echo, a ghost dog, can be found in the Corrupted Realm’s spawn area, to the left of its trio of mausoleums.

Talk to Echo to start Echo’s Memories. He asks you to recover four lost items: the Old Collar, Chewed Bone, Favorite Toy, and Old Photograph.

Bring all four items back to Echo. That finishes the first half of the questline, and Echo points you toward his old master.

Find the Ghost Fisherman at Gilbert’s Hut and speak to him. He hands over the special fishing rod, which you keep for the rest of the event.

Cast into the water in the Corrupted Realm and click quickly to reel in during the minigame. A completed catch can pay Candy Corn, and it also has a chance to give you an egg or the Spectral Mutation.

You’ll know the unlock worked when the rod appears in your inventory after the Ghost Fisherman conversation. The same rod also feeds into the Phantom Express ticket challenge, so getting it does double duty.

Pumpkin event payouts

A random Pumpkin event also hands out Candy Corn. When it triggers, players compete to collect Pumpkins and carry them to the Pumpkin Altar, and your final placement sets the payout. Pumpkins can spawn anywhere in the dimension. Join every round you see, since it pays out in a single lump rather than kill by kill.

How much Candy Corn the Halloween Dimension Egg costs

The Halloween Event Shop in the Corrupted Realm’s safe zone sells the Halloween Dimension Egg for 2,250 Candy Corn. Here’s how many kills that price works out to if you only farm one monster tier.

In practice you’ll mix methods, so the real number lands lower once egg returns, fishing catches, and Pumpkin event wins pile on. Your Candy Corn balance updates as each reward lands, and the shop’s purchase button for the egg becomes usable once you hit 2,250. Don’t leave it to the final day of the event on October 24, because the Candy Corn shop goes away with the event.
