Update 7 brought the Enchanted Forest to Steal An Egg on October 4, 2026. No earlier zone lies as far down the map. Inside, you’ll find eight new pets, a Wisp who gives quests, a sealed Enchanted Tree, and a butterfly-catching loop that supplies the new Enchanted Mutation. Progress through these features hinges on one number.
Quick answer: You need 50 billion Speed to enter the biome and spawn the Wisp. Finish its three quests to open the Enchanted Tree, grab the free Butterfly Net, then farm Butterfly Bloom to craft Enchanted Essence and apply the Enchanted Mutation.

Speed requirement to reach the Enchanted Forest
The biome demands 50 billion Speed, the steepest gate in the game. An Enchanted Lion guards the area, and anything below that mark gets caught before you reach the Wisp or grab a single egg.
This gate works differently from earlier zones. Temporary speed boosts from event shops will not let you sneak past it. The Wisp only appears once you genuinely own 50 billion Speed, so the number has to come from your pets and treadmill upgrades.
Clearing the minimum is only half the job. You still need headroom to carry a heavy egg and outrun the Lion on the way back to base, so aim for more than the listed 50 billion before attempting regular steals.

Stealing eggs from the biome can hatch eight new pets, spread across the upper rarity tiers. Two of them, the Celestial Sunlion and the Royal Skywhale, also tie into a hidden fusion machine deeper in the tree.
| Pet | Rarity |
|---|---|
| Prism Gecko | Legendary |
| Petal Beetle | Mythic |
| Enchanted Bluejay | Mythic |
| Astral Jackalope | Cosmic |
| Spirit Panda | Cosmic |
| Starry Fox | Secret |
| Celestial Sunlion | Eternal |
| Royal Skywhale | Divine |

How to unlock the Enchanted Tree
The Enchanted Tree is sealed until you grow the Wisp from Stage 1 to Stage 4. Once you hit 50 billion Speed, the Wisp spawns in the Enchanted Forest, marked on the ground by a yellow circle near the biome entrance. Talk to it and it starts following you. The three quests open one at a time and must be done in order.

If the door remains sealed, you’ve likely finished the questline but haven’t activated its final step, Return the Wisp. Check the quest menu to make sure each objective is complete and every reward has been claimed.
What’s inside the Enchanted Tree
The tree acts as a hub for the new progression, holding three things you will use for the Enchanted Mutation.
Butterfly Net
Pick up the Butterfly Net before anything else. It’s free, and catching butterflies in the Butterfly Bloom event requires it. You won’t be able to collect any butterflies without the net.
Conversion Center
The Conversion Center trades lower-tier butterflies up into rarer ones. It is the only way to build the Radiant butterflies the Essence recipe needs, since those do not drop freely.
Enchanted Mutation Shrine
The Enchanted Mutation Shrine is where you craft Enchanted Essence and apply the mutation to an egg. Everything else in the tree feeds into this spot.

Catching butterflies during Butterfly Bloom
Butterfly Bloom is an event that returns to the Enchanted Forest, spawning butterflies for players who have unlocked the tree and claimed the net. It often comes around every 30 minutes, but its schedule has no official confirmation. Keep an eye out for the in-game event alert instead of counting on a timer.
Once Bloom begins, put on the Butterfly Net and move through the event area, approaching butterflies to catch them. Catch as many as you can before the event finishes. The four butterfly tiers, ordered from common to rare, are Emerald, Sapphire, Amethyst, and Radiant.
Butterfly conversion rates
Use the Conversion Center to upgrade spare butterflies into higher tiers at these rates.
| Butterflies used | Result |
|---|---|
| 10 Emerald | 1 Sapphire |
| 10 Sapphire | 1 Amethyst |
| 50 Amethyst | 1 Radiant |
Do not convert everything upward the moment you can. The recipe needs all four tiers, including 240 Emeralds and 115 Sapphires, so burning your lower tiers too early leaves you farming common butterflies again. Reserve the recipe amounts before trading leftovers toward a Radiant.

Crafting Enchanted Essence and applying the mutation
One Enchanted Essence is crafted at the Enchanted Mutation Shrine from a full stack of all four butterfly types.
| Butterfly | Amount |
|---|---|
| Emerald | 240 |
| Sapphire | 115 |
| Amethyst | 40 |
| Radiant | 1 |
With the butterflies in hand, interact with the shrine and submit them to craft one Essence. To apply the mutation, place an unhatched egg, keep an Essence ready, interact with the shrine, and select the placed egg when prompted.
Enchanted Essence has a 100% application chance, so the mutation lands with no extra RNG roll once the butterfly grind is done. That 100% refers only to the mutation applying, not to the egg’s income bonus. The mutation itself gives roughly a x2.85 income multiplier, which makes it most worthwhile on eggs that already earn strong base income.
Success is confirmed when the shrine uses up the Essence and the egg displays the Enchanted Mutation. If crafting produces a Need More Butterflies alert, you’re short on at least one tier; compare your inventory with the required amounts for all four to spot which one. An Essence requires a large butterfly stack, so reserve your first few for valuable eggs instead of eggs you expect to replace.
