Sammy is Coming story setup and Dr. Scramble
Although the update is named Sammy is Coming, it unlocks the Dr. Scramble Event. In the launch teaser, Dr. Scramble arrives during Sammy’s visit, seizes control of his mind, and turns him into the source of chaos throughout the map.
Ben eventually frees Sammy, then defeats Dr. Scramble. Afterward, he unlocks the Dr. Scramble Event, adding its new activities, rewards, and secrets to the game. Enter it directly through the official Roblox game page.
Dr. Scramble Event: drones and Samples
The Dr. Scramble Event is a recurring activity. His drones invade the map every 30 minutes, and defeating them is how you earn the update’s new currency.
- Find and defeat Dr. Scramble’s drones across the biomes.
- Collect Samples that drop from destroyed drones.
- Spend Samples in the new Experiment Shop.
- Watch for stronger drones, which can drop additional rewards.
The event runs for several minutes each time it starts, so you have room to move between areas and clear multiple drones before it ends. Spreading out across biomes yields more Samples than camping a single spot.
Experiment Shop rewards
Samples are spent at the Experiment Shop, which stocks limited items alongside standard boosters. Some rewards are limited, so it can be worth saving currency instead of spending it on the first thing you can afford.

One egg in the shop can apparently only be purchased once, which makes it one of the harder rewards to secure. Prioritize saving Samples if you want it.
Experiment #013 secret: finding Nibbles
One of Dr. Scramble’s experiments has escaped. Nibbles, also known as Experiment #013, is hiding somewhere in the world, and tracking him down starts a hidden mission.
- Locate Nibbles hiding somewhere on the map.
- Talk to him to reveal his secret mission.
- Complete the mission to obtain a secret item.
The final steps of the mission are intentionally left for players to work out on their own. You will know it is done when the secret item is added to your rewards.
Secret Laboratory and the Stolen Experiment Vault
Within the Abyss Ocean area, the Secret Laboratory is hidden. A concealed cave in the Abyss biome provides the route inside. An escaped experiment and an NPC there initiate the Stolen Experiment Vault quest.
The NPC says the vault was damaged during his escape and lost five parts. You must recover every part before the vault will open. Some are in the normal biomes, while the rest come from Dr. Scramble’s drones during the event.

The Volcano part is the tricky one because it sits too high for a normal jump. Having another player launch your character upward can help, and a taller avatar makes the attempt easier. If it still cannot be collected, it may currently be affected by a bug.
After collecting all five parts, return to the Secret Laboratory. Use them on the vault to repair it and claim its reward.
Dr. Scramble’s return
The patch notes end by teasing that Dr. Scramble will come back in a larger follow-up update, described as returning “with a vengeance.” No official date or time for that next update is currently confirmed, so treat any specific schedule circulating elsewhere as unverified until it appears in the live game.
