A Cargo Train now runs through the open world in Storage Hunters: Open World, carrying its own auctions, loot pool, and Collection Book tab. It arrives once per hour and opens four container auction tiers gated behind rising Net Worth thresholds, with entry paid using Train Tickets. The update landed on October 3, 2026, and also adds new mutations, vehicles, furniture, and several quality-of-life settings.
Quick answer: To bid on the Cargo Train, reach at least $550,000 Net Worth and carry a Train Ticket, then board the train when it stops at a station on the XX:00 mark.

Cargo Train access requirements and auction tiers
A Net Worth of at least $550,000 is required to board. Build it the usual way: collect items, then sell them to NPC customers. Each bid uses one Train Ticket, whatever tier you enter.
There are four container tiers. Every tier needs a single Train Ticket per bid, but the Net Worth gate climbs sharply as you move up.
| Tier | Train Tickets | Net Worth required |
|---|---|---|
| Train Container I | 1 | $550,000 |
| Train Container II | 1 | $3,500,000 |
| Train Container III | 1 | $15,000,000 |
| Train Container IV | 1 | $60,000,000 |
You can start playing directly from the Storage Hunters: Open World Roblox page. Once your Net Worth clears a tier’s threshold and you hold a ticket, that container becomes available to bid on.

When and where the Cargo Train spawns
The train reaches a server once per hour at XX:00 according to your local clock, with XX representing the current hour. It travels between stations, stopping at each for about 10 minutes during an active period of roughly 30 minutes. If you cannot see it, trace the railway tracks on the map to locate it.
Three stations sit along the line:
- Behind the Shipyard.
- Near the central pond and Farmyard.
- Between Lucky Beach and Business Bay, beside the golden Sphinx.
Because each stop lasts only about 10 minutes, head to the nearest station before the hour turns so you are ready to bid the moment the train halts.

How to get Train Tickets
Train Tickets are the entry currency for every container tier, and there are two reliable ways to stock up on them.
Conductor quests
The Conductor NPC stands on the train platform and asks you to recover lost items. He offers three difficulties each hour, paying out in tickets by difficulty.
| Quest | Tickets |
|---|---|
| Easy | 5 |
| Medium | 10 |
| Hard | 15 |
Clearing all three in an hour nets 30 tickets in total.
Standard auction garages
Tickets also drop as rare finds inside the regular storage auctions scattered across the map. Standard Train Tickets add one ticket, while Premium Train Tickets add five, so keep bidding on normal garages even when you are chasing train loot.

New Cargo Train loot and mutations
The train brings 54 new items, each with its own entry in a dedicated Cargo Train tab of the Collection Book. The pool includes Steampunk car parts such as the Cogwheel Wheel Stack, Steampunk Exhaust, and Cogwheel Spoiler, alongside higher-rarity finds like the mythical Steampunk Mech valued at $520,000.
Three mutations appear only inside Cargo Train garages, and they stack large multipliers onto whatever they roll on.
| Mutation | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Polished Brass | 3.5x |
| Steam | 10x |
| Clockwork | 25x |

New vehicles at the dealership
Two vehicles arrive with this update: the Flying Fish Plane, the game’s first car that can fly and still drive on roads, and the Steampunk Motorbike, fitted with a barrel sidecar and an integrated trailer.
| Vehicle | Cash price | Robux price |
|---|---|---|
| Flying Fish Plane | $12,500,000 | 6,300 |
| Steampunk Motorbike | $95,000 | 702 |

Two menu additions change how you manage your run. Open Settings and then Quests to reach the Quest Manager, where you can review active quests and cancel any you no longer want, freeing up quest slots. Under Settings and Item History, you can review up to your last 250 item interactions, split across All, Sales, and Other categories such as inventory moves, listings, and returned items.

To reach higher tiers quickly, save up tickets early, raise your Net Worth beyond the requirement for your chosen tier, and wait at a station for the hour to change.
