Quest NPCs in Storage Hunters (Roblox) hand out repeating tasks that pay out gems and luck, and they sit in fixed spots across the Junkyard, Back Alley, Farmyard, and Shipyard. Nine quest givers are currently active, and most of them are gated behind a net worth requirement, so you cannot reach the later ones until you have grown your business. Knowing where each one stands and what they want lets you stack several quests at once instead of wandering the map.
Quick answer: There are nine quest NPCs. Billy (Junkyard) and the Gas Station NPC are available from the start, the Basketball and Sal quests open near Back Alley, the Basketball Ring quest needs $3,000 net worth, Black Market Guy needs $5,000, Ted and the Fishing Pond NPC need $10,000 to enter the Farmyard, and Steve needs $100,000 to reach the Shipyard.

Several quests will not start until your net worth clears a threshold, and some are locked simply because the area itself is locked. Use this order so you know what to grind toward next.
| Quest / NPC | Net worth needed |
|---|---|
| Billy, Gas Station NPC, Basketball NPC, Sal | None to begin |
| Basketball Ring NPC | $3,000 |
| Black Market Guy | $5,000 |
| Ted and Fishing Pond NPC (enter Farmyard) | $10,000 |
| Steve (enter Shipyard) | $100,000 |
Billy – Junkyard
Billy is the first NPC you meet and the junkyard mascot. His Junk Collector quest repeats endlessly, so you grind Junkyard auctions, hand in the items he asks for, and collect gems. It is repetitive, but the payout stacks up the more you run it. He also gives the Junk Flipper quest, where you repair items using the wrench he hands you as a reward.

Gas Station NPC – Gas Station
A short walk from the Junkyard, this NPC has exactly two quests and then he is finished for good. The first, Forecourt Cleanup, sends you back to the Junkyard for specific items. The second points you toward the Back Alley. Clear both and there is nothing more from him.

Basketball NPC – near Back Alley
This NPC gives the Bouncing Around quest, which asks you to find six basketballs from the Junkyard. They drop as uncommon items, which sounds easy until you try it. This is the hardest quest in the game and can take up to three hours to finish.
Tip: Lower your luck stat for this one. It sounds backwards, but lower luck increases uncommon drop rates, which is exactly the rarity basketballs fall under.

Basketball Ring NPC – near Back Alley
Standing right next to the Basketball NPC, this one wants basketball rings from Back Alley. They are rare drops, but the grind feels much shorter than the basketball quest. You need $3,000 net worth before the quest becomes available.

Sal – Back Alley
Sal works like Billy but in the Back Alley. He has a simple repeating quest, so you keep running auctions in the area and turning in items for gems.

Black Market Guy – behind Back Alley
He is tucked behind the main Back Alley section, right next to the building where Sal stands. Walk to the back area and you will find him on the stairs. His quest requires $5,000 net worth to start.
He begins by asking for regular weapons from Back Alley, then upgrades his demands to legendary weapons after a while. If you have been grinding Back Alley for a bit, you will have plenty of those already. The full chain likely ends at some point, matching how the other repeating quests behave.

Ted – Farmyard
Ted runs a repeating, area-specific quest in the Farmyard. Do your auctions there and hand in what he needs, the same as Billy and Sal. You must have a minimum $10,000 net worth to enter the Farmyard at all, so build that up first.

Fishing Pond NPC – dock near Farmyard
Head past the Farmyard to the pond and look for this NPC on the dock. Like Ted, you need $10,000 net worth first to start his quests. There are two of them.
- First, fish 100x items.
- Second, catch items worth $50,000 in total.
You need a fishing rod to do this, which comes from Farmyard auctions. The rod has three tiers, rare, epic, and legendary, and higher rarity means more catches per session.

Steve – Shipyard
Steve is the late-game NPC in the Shipyard, and reaching his area requires $100,000 net worth. His quest opens with 90 small container auctions, then automatically shifts to 15 large container auctions once you hit that milestone.

You can stack multiple quests at once, which makes each session far more efficient because you are pushing several goals at the same time. Do not skip the repeating quest NPCs thinking they are pointless, since the gems build up fast and most of these quests appear to evolve into new stages rather than loop forever. You can play the game directly on Roblox to start working through them.
