The Stranger Things: Tales from '85 Quest Completed badge is a free, limited-time award tied to Evade's collaboration event with Netflix. It drops into your Roblox inventory once you sit through the full first episode of the show inside the special event server, and it's only available during a short window in late April and early May 2026.

Event window and availability
The collaboration runs from April 23rd, 2026, through May 4th, 2026, with the badge itself only obtainable between April 23rd and May 3rd. After that cutoff, the in-game theater stops the scheduled showings, and the badge can no longer be earned, even if the event server stays online for the final day.
Episode playback runs three times per day on a fixed schedule. The first daily showing begins at 12 PM EST, with two more screenings later in the day. You need to be inside the theater area and have the playback active for the full duration of the episode for the badge to register.
What you need before joining
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Game version | Event server labeled 👻Evade [ST:'85] 🧟 |
| Currency | None |
| Gamepass | None |
| Time commitment | Roughly the runtime of one Stranger Things episode, uninterrupted |
| Deadline | May 3rd, 2026 (badge), May 4th, 2026 (event ends) |
How to earn the Quest Completed badge
Step 1: Open Roblox and launch the event experience. The collaboration takes place inside the regular Evade place, but it's renamed during the event to 👻Evade [ST:'85] 🧟 with the description "Strange Things: Tales from '85 quest - Netflix!". Make sure you join that exact version, not an older private server.
Step 2: Once you've spawned in, look at the bottom-left corner of your screen for the Stranger Things: Tales from '85 tab. Clicking it opens a separate menu where you can read the quest brief, watch the trailer, and check the schedule for the next episode showing.

Step 3: Wait for one of the three daily screenings to start, then enter the theater room when the timer hits zero. You must remain in the viewing area while the episode plays. Leaving the server, switching to a different game, or being kicked back to the lobby mid-episode will reset your progress, and you'll need to catch the next showing.
Step 4: When the credits roll, the badge unlocks automatically. You'll see the standard Roblox badge notification appear on your screen, and the award will show up under the Badges tab on your Roblox profile.
Confirming the badge unlocked
The badge is called "Strange Things: Tales from '85 - Quest Completed" on Roblox. You'll know it worked when the in-game pop-up triggers at the end of the episode and the badge appears in your inventory under the Evade game's badge list. If the notification doesn't show, check your profile directly before assuming it failed — sometimes the on-screen toast is missed during the credits.

Optional side quest for the emote
There's a second, harder badge running alongside the main one called "Strange Things: Tales from '85 - Emote Side Quest." Earning it requires both watching the first episode and surviving the Vine Dog Attack special round, a limited-time mode added for the collaboration. Clearing the side quest unlocks the Winter of '85 emote, which is gated behind that badge and only obtainable while the event is live.
Vine Dog is a 3D nextbot that only appears during this special round, alongside other event additions like Hound Dog, IShowEyes, Wise Worm, and the Shire map. The round is randomized, so you may need to play several matches before it triggers.
Common reasons the badge does not award
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| Badge never popped after watching | You may have joined a non-event server. Confirm the game name shows 👻Evade [ST:'85] 🧟 before the screening starts. |
| Episode didn't play | Showings only run three times daily starting at 12 PM EST. Outside those windows the theater is idle. |
| Got disconnected mid-episode | Progress doesn't carry across sessions. Rejoin and catch the next scheduled showing in full. |
| Past the deadline | The badge is locked off after May 3rd, 2026. There's no retroactive unlock. |
This is the second time Evade has run a media tie-in event after the earlier M3GAN crossover, and like that one, the badge and emote disappear permanently once the window closes. If you want both rewards plus the UGC, plan around a single play session that covers a screening and a few rounds of Vine Dog Attack rather than spreading attempts across multiple days.
