Yasmine is the first fighter in Street Fighter 6’s Year 4 lineup, and she plays as a close-range pressure character built around her Karambit knife. She struggles at long range against fireballs, but once she gets in, her strings and knife specials keep the opponent locked down. The routes below cover a simple starter, a Bayani Mode extension, and higher-damage punish combos.
Quick answer: Her easiest bread-and-butter is 2LK > 2LP [LP.LP] > 236MP~6P. Cancel the crouching lights into Daloy ng Tubig, then confirm the Alon (6P) follow-up to enter Bayani Mode.
Notation used for Yasmine’s inputs
The routes use numeric notation for movement, based on a keyboard number pad. So 5 is neutral, 2 is crouch, and 9 is a forward jump. The button shorthand is below.
| Input | Meaning |
|---|---|
| LP / MP / HP | Light, Medium, Heavy Punch |
| LK / MK / HK | Light, Medium, Hard Kick |
| PP / KK | OD (EX) version |
| P / K | Any punch / any kick |
| xx | Cancel / immediately |
| . | Link |
| ~ | Follow-up |
| ( ) | Whiff |
| DI | Drive Impact |
| DR / DRC | Drive Rush / Drive Rush Cancel |

Yasmine is in Bayani Mode when her Karambit knife glows blue. In this state certain moves become stronger. You normally enter it by landing the Alon (6P) follow-up after Daloy ng Tubig (the 236 knife special), which is exactly what the bread-and-butter route sets up. That means the easy starter can flow directly into a Bayani Mode extension.
She also carries an install-style Super Art called Nakatagong Lakas. It lets her keep using specials while she stays in Bayani Mode for a limited window, which extends her pressure and combo options during that time.
Yasmine combo routes and damage
Each route below is listed by the situation that sets it up, with its full notation and the payoff. Damage values are for the fuller combos where they were measured.
| Situation | Notation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Easy BNB | 2LK > 2LP [LP.LP] > 236MP~6P | Ends in Bayani Mode |
| Bayani Mode extension | (BM) 9HP > [MP.MP.] > 236MP~6P > HP > 623HK | Higher damage, ends on Lipad ng Agila |
| Driveless corner jump-in | 9HP > 2HP xx 236HP~6P > 623LK | 2,940 damage, ends in Bayani Mode |
| Punish Counter Drive Impact (midscreen) | DI > 2HP xx en.236HP~6P > DP~R 2MP xx 214HP > 5HP(2) xx 623HK | 3,280 damage, refunds Bayani |
| Light punch to full combo | 2LP xx 2LP xx DR 2LP > 2HP xx 214PP > 236PP~6P xx 236236P | ≈4,047 damage, empties meter |
Bread-and-butter starter
The route is 2LK > 2LP [LP.LP] > 236MP~6P. The trickiest part is linking the two Light Punches cleanly. When you cancel into Daloy ng Tubig (236MP), keep the Alon follow-up (6P) on the same Medium button so the timing stays consistent. Landing the 6P is what puts you into Bayani Mode, so you can flow straight into the extension after it.
Bayani Mode extension
Once the knife is glowing, run (BM) 9HP > [MP.MP.] > 236MP~6P > HP > 623HK. This travels farther and does more damage than the starter, and it closes on Lipad ng Agila (the 623 DP kick), which is a series of rising kicks. Because the BNB leaves you in Bayani Mode, this works as a natural continuation right after it.
Driveless corner jump-in
If the opponent is already pinned in the corner, 9HP > 2HP xx 236HP~6P > 623LK deals 2,940 damage without spending any Drive meter, and it still leaves you in Bayani Mode afterward. It is a strong way to cash out a corner jump-in while keeping your resources.
Punish Counter Drive Impact route
For a midscreen punish off Drive Impact, use DI > 2HP xx en.236HP~6P > DP~R 2MP xx 214HP > 5HP(2) xx 623HK. It deals 3,280 damage and refunds the Bayani you spend at the start, so it pays back its own resource. It is execution-heavy, with several cancels and a whiffed crouch input near the end, but it carries the opponent toward the corner.
Light punch to full combo
When you catch a stray poke, 2LP xx 2LP xx DR 2LP > 2HP xx 214PP > 236PP~6P xx 236236P turns a crouching Light Punch into roughly 4,047 damage. You cancel the light into another light, Drive Rush in for more normals, spend two OD specials, and finish with a Super. Note that this route drains almost your entire meter, so check your resources before committing to it.
Before drilling these against a live opponent, run Yasmine’s in-game combo trials and tutorial to build muscle memory for the light-punch links and the Daloy ng Tubig into Alon confirm. Those two pieces sit at the core of every route here, so getting them consistent unlocks the rest of her damage.
