Subterra is a 2.5D mining game on Roblox developed by Polyworks Studio, taking clear cues from sandbox staples like Terraria and Minecraft. Developer codes drop around major updates, community milestones, and bug patches — rewarding players with chrono shards, XP boosts, TNT blocks, potions, and gold that make early-game progression noticeably faster.

Working Subterra codes (July 2026)

  • 100KMEMBERS — 420 chrono shards, ten wormhole potions, and ten return by death potions
  • UPDATE — 140 chrono shards
  • FEATURED — 32 TNT blocks and one hour of double XP
  • 1YEAR — 1,400 chrono shards
  • 30KLIKES — two hours of double XP

How to redeem Subterra codes

Unlike most Roblox games, Subterra doesn’t use a menu-based code panel. Instead, codes are entered through a specific NPC in the lobby. You also need to stand in a designated spot for the box to open, so the steps below matter.

Open Subterra inside Roblox and wait for your character to fully spawn in.
Head to the right side of the bridge at the spawn area and find Chrysos, the codes NPC. Walk onto the highlighted light-blue zone around him to trigger the code entry box.

Copy a code from the working list above and paste it into the Enter Code field. Codes are case-sensitive, so pasting avoids the typos that trigger error messages.
Click Claim Code. A “Code Redeemed” banner appears at the top of the screen and confirms exactly which rewards were added to your account.

Each code can only be redeemed once per account. If you see an “Already redeemed” notice, that code has already been used on your profile.

What the rewards are used for

Chrono shards are the primary currency for the Card Summoning system — each draw costs 140 shards and lets you choose one ability card from a set of three. Gold covers pickaxe upgrades at the blacksmith, inventory expansions from Emilia, and general shop purchases. Double XP boosts stack well before longer play sessions, since the timer only counts down while you’re in-game. Wormhole potions assist with fast travel, while return by death potions provide a revival option when mining deep underground.

Where to find new codes

Polyworks Studio announces codes through its official community channels. Joining the Subterra Discord server and selecting the Subterra role gives you access to the game-announcements channel, where new codes typically appear first. Following @PolyworksStudio on X is another reliable way to catch milestone posts that tend to come with a code attached. Bookmarking this page also works — we check for new codes and remove expired ones regularly.
