Survive Zombie Arena: Every Working AFK Farming Glitch (Update 0.75)

The safe spots on Rooftop Siege, Prison Yard, and Atlantis that let you farm credits and shards untouched.

The safe spots on Rooftop Siege, Prison Yard, and Atlantis that let you farm credits and shards untouched.

In Survive Zombie Arena, several map positions still let you stand where the horde cannot path to you. Zombies pile up nearby, deal no damage, and you clear waves at your own pace. These spots survive into Update 0.75 and work best when paired with a class that kills on its own, so you can farm credits and shards while barely touching the controls.

Quick answer: Start a solo match with the Horde Rush modifier on Nightmare (or Hardcore) difficulty, run to a designated safe spot, and equip Bastion so its drones kill the gathered zombies automatically. Add the Glass Frenzy! modifier for a +30% credit boost.

Setup that every glitch needs

All of the safe spots rely on the same match configuration. You create the game yourself so you control the map, modifier, and difficulty. Horde Rush keeps zombies spawning in a steady stream, which is what you want when the horde is stuck in one place. A high difficulty raises the reward, but the safe spot still protects you either way.

SettingValueWhy it matters
Party Size1 (solo)Full control over positioning
ModifierHorde RushConstant zombie spawns to farm
DifficultyNightmare or HardcoreHigher credit and shard rewards
ClassBastion or CelestialKills the horde without breaking the spot
Credit boostGlass Frenzy!+30% credit multiplier

Bastion is the easiest class to use because its drones auto-target enemies. Celestial works too, using Space Bombs thrown with the Q key. If you go the Bastion route, upgrade the Drone gear to its maximum in the Upgrades shop first, since more drones mean faster clears.

Rooftop Siege staircase ledge

This is the most reliable of the safe spots. The horde gathers on the platform level while you sit on a narrow ledge they cannot reach.

Create a solo game on the Rooftop Siege map with the Horde Rush modifier and Nightmare difficulty.

Once you spawn, run to the staircase and step onto the narrow outer ledge on its side.
Equip Bastion and deploy drones. The zombies collect on the level above and below you, and the drones pick them off while you stay put.

Note: There is a second block-structure spot on this same map, but it may be partially patched, so treat the staircase ledge as your main option. On the under-stairs variant of this map you can even fire your gun without breaking the safe spot, unlike the Atlantis glitch below.

Prison Yard bench press barbell

The Prison Yard map hides a safe spot in plain sight at the outdoor weightlifting area. Standing on the equipment lifts you just out of the horde’s reach.

Create a solo game on the Prison Yard map with Horde Rush and Nightmare difficulty.
Run straight to the outdoor weightlifting station as soon as the round begins.
Jump and balance on top of the bench press barbell. Zombies crowd underneath but cannot land a hit, so let your class clear them.

Atlantis balcony corner clip

Atlantis has a corner on the upper balcony where you can clip into the geometry so zombies stack above you and lose their path. It takes a couple of tries to land, and it comes with one strict rule.

Start a solo Hardcore game on the Atlantis map and play normally until around Wave 10 to build up in-game currency.

Walk up the ramp to the upper balcony, climb onto the grey railing, and turn on shift lock.
Run forward into the corner where the railing meets the wall pillar. If a zombie chases you down, drop back and repeat until you clip into the corner.
Turn on Auto-Skip. New zombies walk up the ramp and gather on the platform above you. Kill them with Celestial’s Space Bombs (Q) or, if you use Bastion, spam drones to clear the group.

Warning: Do not pull out your weapon on the Atlantis spot. Drawing a gun breaks the glitch and lets the horde reach you. Stick to thrown Space Bombs or drones here.

How to confirm it worked, and why it fails

You know the safe spot is holding when zombies bunch up next to or above your character and stop attacking. Your health bar stays full, and waves keep advancing while you deal damage only through drones or thrown abilities. If damage numbers are ticking on your own health, you have not settled into the spot correctly.

The most common reasons a spot fails are landing slightly off the exact ledge or corner, drawing a weapon on the Atlantis clip, or a zombie catching you before you finish the clip animation. On Atlantis specifically, reposition into the corner and try again rather than fighting back in the open.

Farm faster with Glass Frenzy!

Once you are settled in a safe spot, the Glass Frenzy! modifier adds a +30% credit multiplier on top of your normal wave rewards. Because you are taking no damage, the extra reward carries no added risk, which makes it the single most useful add-on for long AFK sessions.

Glitch spots tend to get patched between updates, so expect the exact ledges and corners to shift over time. When a spot stops working, the underlying method stays the same. Find a position the horde cannot path to, pick a class that kills on its own, and keep Horde Rush running while the credits and shards stack up.
