The three playable arenas, their layouts, and how Normal, Hardcore, and Nightmare change your Credit payout per kill.

Survive Zombie Arena drops you into a fixed arena where you hold a position, set up defenses, and clear waves of zombies for Credits. There are three maps to choose from, and each one gives you a different layout to defend. You can run any of them solo or with a squad of up to 25 players.

Quick answer: The three maps are Rooftop Siege, Atlantis, and Abandoned Farm. Map choice mainly changes where you can build defenses, not how fast you earn. Your Credit payout per kill is set by difficulty: 5 on Normal, 7.5 on Hardcore, and 12.5 on Nightmare.

Every map has decorative objects and structures, but you can’t interact with them and neither can the zombies. Both players and enemies walk straight through scenery. What you can place are your own defensive structures, like turrets and barricades. Set them down, stand behind them, and the zombies waste time breaking through while you keep firing safely.

MapLayoutIn-game elements
Rooftop SiegeA rooftop with a helipad where you spawn, plus a house on each side. Walls on three sides make it easy to use as a camp. Head into a house, set up defenses, and clear the waves.RPG Weapon (59 Robux); three purchase spots, one on the helipad and one near each house
AtlantisAn underwater location with one tunnel on the ground floor and another on the upper floor, both leading into a room.RPG Weapon near the tunnel entrance on AtlantisRPG Weapon (59 Robux); near the entrance to the tunnels
Abandoned FarmA farm with a red barn where you spawn out front. Neither zombies nor players pass through the barn walls, so it works as a camp for defenses.

How difficulty changes your Credit payout

Each map can be played on three difficulties: Normal, Hardcore, and Nightmare. The difficulty you pick matters far more for farming than the map itself, because it sets how many Credits each kill is worth. Visibility stays normal on the first two settings.

Nightmare is the standout. A blue fog rolls across the map and cuts your visibility, and you start facing Brutal Zombies. In exchange, you earn 12.5 Credits per kill, the highest rate available.

DifficultyCredits per killConditions
Normal5Standard visibility
Hardcore7.5Standard visibility
Nightmare12.5Blue fog reduces visibility; Brutal Zombies appear

Which map to play

In practice, the maps don’t change much beyond the spots where you can plant defenses. Some simply offer more usable corners than others, so the right pick comes down to whether you’re solo or in a team.

  • Rooftop Siege is the largest of the three, with walls on three sides and houses you can hole up in. It’s comfortable for solo runs.
  • Abandoned Farm has plenty of corners around the barn, which makes it easy to set up defenses with a team or hold a tight spot alone.
  • Atlantis is more open and needs more defensive structures to cover, so it leans toward team play where you can split coverage.

Tip: If your goal is Credits per hour, the map you enjoy holding matters less than running a difficulty you can clear consistently. Nightmare pays the most, but only if your defenses and survivability can keep up with Brutal Zombies through the fog.

Whichever arena you settle on, the formula stays the same. Pick a spot with cover and a clear line of fire, build your barricades and turrets, and let the zombies grind against them while you rack up kills. You can jump into any of the three maps from the selection menu when you launch Survive Zombie Arena on Roblox and switch difficulty whenever you want to push your payout higher.
