Sword Fight on the Heights IV: How to Get Duel of the Heights in The Hunt

Open the 2007 portal, pick up four swords in a single run, and claim the winged accessory at the hub pedestal.

Duel of the Heights is the free phoenix-wing accessory tied to the Sword Fight on the Heights IV stop inside The Hunt: Roblox 20. Earning it is a two-part job. You open the portal from the 2007 hub area, then survive long enough inside the arena to gather four swords, which trips the event badge and makes the item claimable back at the hub.

Quick answer: Press all five buttons for the Pirate NPC to open the portal, collect four different swords inside Sword Fight on the Heights IV, then return to the hub and claim the accessory at the pedestal.

Unlock the Sword Fight on the Heights IV portal first

The arena is gated behind a short button hunt in the 2007 area of The Hunt: Roblox 20. Talk to the Pirate NPC on the spawn island to start the task, then find five buttons scattered around the hub and press each one with the interaction prompt or the E key. Order does not matter.

ButtonWhere it sits
1On the entrance of the “Your House” building
2In front of the Noob prison, the direction the Pirate NPC faces
3On top of the raised mountain, directly under the large rocket launcher
4Inside the blue glass tunnel, reached by climbing behind the Pirate NPC
5Past the disappearing bridge, at the end of the vanishing platforms

The fifth one is the only real obstacle, since the platforms on the bridge drop away as you cross. Keep moving and jump the gaps quickly rather than stopping to line up each step. Once all five are pressed, speak to the Pirate NPC again to close out the task and open the portal.

What counts toward the four swords

Inside the arena, a counter in the top-left corner tracks your progress toward 4/4 Swords. You spawn holding the Linked Sword, and that already fills the first slot, so only three more pickups stand between you and the badge.

There is no fixed shopping list. Any four distinct swords on the map satisfy the counter, so if another player has just grabbed the one you were heading for, move on to a different pedestal or wait a few moments for it to reappear. A reliable low-risk set looks like this:

  • Linked Sword — automatic on spawn (1/4)
  • Illuminina — beige platform area (2/4)
  • Ghostwalker — near the map edge, through the purple portal (3/4)
  • Windforce — the yellow pillar section (4/4)

Treat the run as if a wipeout resets you. Descriptions of the badge differ on whether deaths wipe your tally or the event counter keeps every pickup, so the safe play is to finish the route in one life and avoid fights entirely.

Sword route inside Sword Fight on the Heights IV

From spawn, head for the colored teleporters and portals clustered in the middle of the map. They cut across the arena far faster than the girders and beams, and they keep you away from the crowded central platforms where everyone else is swinging.

Travel to the beige platform area and pick up the Illuminina sword. If the pedestal is empty, someone beat you to it, so hold position nearby for a few seconds until it respawns rather than abandoning the spot.
Take the purple portal out toward the edge of the map and grab the Ghostwalker sword. This is the easiest place on the route to lose the run, because the walkways are narrow and the drop is unforgiving, so approach it slowly.
Make your way to the yellow pillar section for the Windforce sword. The striped ladder on the tall brown pillar is the safest way up, and it keeps you off the exposed beams while you climb.

With the fourth sword in hand, the counter flips to 4/4 and the badge fires immediately. There is nothing left to do in the arena after that, so you can drop out of the server without worrying about protecting the swords.

Claim Duel of the Heights in The Hunt hub

Leave the arena and rejoin The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub, then return to the 2007 area where the Pirate NPC and the portal are.
Walk up to the reward pedestal near the leaderboard and trigger the Claim prompt. The wings drop straight into your inventory, and you can equip them from the avatar menu right there.

The Hunt: Roblox 20 unlocks its content in chronological order, so the 2007 stop only becomes available once you have worked through the earlier years.

How to confirm the badge and item unlocked

Two on-screen confirmations tell you the run worked. The sword counter in the top-left corner reads 4/4, and a badge awarded notification pops up the moment the fourth pickup registers. Nothing else in the arena needs to happen.

The accessory itself only lands after the hub step. If the pedestal shows no Claim prompt, the badge has not registered on your account yet, and the fix is another clean run through the sword route. Once claimed, Duel of the Heights appears in your Roblox inventory permanently and can be worn on any avatar.

The same badge-then-claim structure repeats across the rest of the event’s free items, with each one attached to its own small objective in a different year’s area.
