Tower Defense X’s biggest event yet is live. The Tower Battles x TDX II crossover — billed by the developer as the Final Collab — opened on September 26 and runs through mid-December, closing out the game’s long-running Void storyline with new bosses, new towers, and a free Battle Pass.

Tower Battles x TDX II: the Final Collab (live now)
The marquee event, Tower Battles x TDX II, has been live since September 26 (3:00 PM ET) and is scheduled to run until the early hours of December 13 ET. The developer frames it as the Final Collab and the conclusion of the game’s Void saga: players take the fight to the Void army across eight new boss encounters, with more than twenty unlockable skins, four new towers, and a free Battle Pass to work through. CALAMITY MINES: the Halloween 2026 event

The story picks up with the GDA’s effort to mine Calamity crystals inside the razed dimension, a dig complicated by whatever still lurks there. The event shop carries eight Calamity-themed skins plus a Slayer event tower to earn. Interest is already strong ahead of launch, with about about 12,000 players signed up.
Hangar Tower: a new heavy spawner
After that, the developer has a Hangar Tower event lined up — a “super military base” built around what is described as the game’s last heavy spawner tower, capable of deploying jets and troops from above, including the Iron Clad MK 3, exclusive Rail Troopers, a GDA orbital gunship, and eight types of jet units. The studio has pencilled in a mid-November window (roughly November 15–20 ET) but has flagged that date as a placeholder that may move, so treat it as tentative until it is confirmed.
