The Blood of Dawnwalker: Ring of Quick Strikes Location

The Ring of Quick Strikes is one of the 21 Legendary pieces of gear in The Blood of Dawnwalker, and it is the accessory to grab if Coen’s build leans on raw sword damage rather than vampiric powers or Witchcraft. It stacks weapon damage with both critical hit chance and critical hit damage, and throws in a little physical damage reduction on top.

Quick answer: Travel to the Ancient Circle landmark east of Maragir in the Maragir Wealds, cast Astral Communion on the broken yellow stone pillar next to the blood-stained rock, and loot the red chest that appears.

Ring of Quick Strikes stats

It drops as a Level 34 Legendary ring. Every bonus on it is tied to the human, sword-swinging half of Coen’s kit, and its vampiric lines all sit at zero.

Its flavor text reads: “Strike fast, strike hard, strike with satisfaction.” That is a fair summary of who it is for. If you are building around Witchcraft or night-form abilities, the Astrologer’s Ring or the Ring of the Night will do more work.

Get it at the Ancient Circle east of Maragir

This is the fastest route, and it needs no keys and no fighting. The only prerequisite is having the Astral Communion Witchcraft ability unlocked, because the chest simply does not exist until you use it.

Open your map and find the Ancient Circle landmark, sitting east of Maragir in the Maragir Wealds region. Set a marker on it and ride over.

Walk into the circle itself. Arriving starts the local quest “Ancient Circle: East of Maragir,” and you can press Tab to track it if you want the objective pinned.

Look for the large blood-stained rock formation, then find the broken yellow stone pillar beside it. Stand next to the pillar until it highlights as an interactable.

Open the chest and take everything. Alongside the Ring of Quick Strikes you get a Soul Reaping Manual, a Wrathful Attunement, and a Silver Bowl.

The Highland Grave route

The ring also turns up inside the Rockfalls ruins as part of The Highland Grave quest, in a chest behind a locked door. This path takes longer because you need a key first, but the same chest also holds the Ancient Hero’s Talisman necklace and a Witchcraft Manual, and finishing the quest pays out 250 XP.

Unlock the Rockfalls Pasture Shrine by retrieving the Shrine’s Heart from the Soldier Camp to the south, then follow the road northeast from the shrine until you reach a skeleton pinned under a rock.

Inspect the remains. This starts the quest and, more importantly, hands you the Scholar’s Key you need for the locked door. Triggering the quest by stumbling on the ruins first works too, but then you still have to backtrack for the key.

Head northwest of the shrine to the Rockfalls ruins in the mountains. Two Uriashi are stationed at the entrance and will stop you to talk. Pick “I just want to look around.” to keep things peaceful.

Sneak past them into the inner chamber, use the Scholar’s Key on the locked door, and open the chest inside to claim the Ring of Quick Strikes.

Note: items marked in red around the Uriashi count as stolen and can drag Coen into a fight. Loot the plain vases and chests freely, but leave the flagged items alone unless you want the brawl.

How to confirm you got it

At the Ancient Circle, a “QUEST ENDED” banner for “Ancient Circle: East of Maragir” appears the moment the chest is emptied, paying 33 XP and one Skill Point. Open your inventory afterward and the ring should be listed with its Legendary rarity and Level 34 requirement.

If no chest shows up at the pillar, there are only two things to check. Either you are not standing close enough for the pillar to register as the target, or you have not unlocked Astral Communion yet, in which case no other interaction at the site will reveal anything.

Once it is equipped, the Ring of Quick Strikes also ticks one box toward the Gear of the Gods trophy, which requires collecting every Legendary item in Vale Sangora.
